I only have a picture of the dino mode, although the chocobo is similar (lift the "rear legs" up to be wings). However, it's a static GIF, BlueSky can't deal with it (back around 2000, GIF was just another image format, animated GIFs were brand new). I guess a screenshot will work.

Finished making the Super Sentai BinRangers and picked out a mech for them. (Might make a Sixth Ranger or a mascot later, but I want to move onto other projects for a while.)

Super Sentai BinRanger! Four of the miniatures are Count Binface minis painted in Power Rangers-inspired colors for BinBlack (leader), BinRed, BinBlue, and BinYellow. BinPink is a heavily customized HeroClix AIM Agent. They are in front of a DF-79 Dumpster Fire Mecha from 100% Soft (I did not mod it, I just left the flame piece off).

First completed of Super Sentai BinRanger, it's BinPink! (I didn't start painting any until I'd finished sculpting this, and the lack of as many fiddly details means I finished it before finishing the Count Binface miniatures.)

A female AIM Agent HeroClix heavily modified with the addition of a garbage can lid atop the head, a short cape, a vent on the belly, and a skirt inspired by the details of Count Binface's belt.

A compilation of my Lunar eclipse photos from last night.

Seven images of the Moon, from uneclipsed to almost totally eclipsed, taken over the late evening of August 27, 2026. Most are pretty clear for a phone camera (plus NightCap photography app and a clip-on telescopic lens), but the final pic is pretty blurry despite my best efforts.

I got a spare Hello Kitty x Godzilla from McD's and decided it needed to be repainted in GMK colors.

Two copies of the McDonalds "Hello Kitty dressed as Godzilla" Happy Meal Toy, front and back views. On the right is the toy as sold. On the left, it has been painted gray with light gray spines and blank white eyes (Kitty also having blank white eyes) in reference to 2000's Godzilla, Mothra, and King Ghidorah movie version.

It CLAIMS the information is only stored locally and Microsoft does not collect the typing insights data, but just as this was turned on quietly, a change in data collection could be done with "notificiation" buried deep in a EULA for a Necessary Update. Assume any update will turn it back on.

In Windows 11 settings, go to Time & Languate, then Typing, then click Typing Insights. This is a local AI system enabled by default, but it can be disabled. It claims to be a sort of improved autocorrect and that the data is "stored only on this device and Microsoft does not collect the typing insights data." Assume any update will turn it back on, of course.

I had some accessories from an old Target Exclusive Tiny Turbo Changers set on my desk gathering dust, Liam can use the shield pieces.

One of Hasbro's big...maybe not failings, but sources of disappointment...is that they'll put all sorts of nifty details into a mold, but then utterly cheap out on paint apps. With this Alpha Trion, only the molded moss on the back and a couple other small bits was painted (poorly). I fixed that.

Multiple views of Studio Series Alpha Trion from the TF One movie. All of the molded moss has now been painted using a couple of shades of textured moss paint.
