My inner hick is happy. Little Blue hybrid Maverick w/ the tow package did the 2 last tests I had for it! Recovery tow and near max load tow complete. Pulled the no brakes, not running, Jetta out of my buds driveway with tow straps and now waiting for his movers to finish and deliver.

Pulled down the insulation around the garage door. Using one of those dumpster bags for the first time. Going to do it again in a few weeks with the remainder of the garage.

Today is the day. Garage door refresh. No more squealing. Will stay up. It's the little things. But I also have to go get some duct elbows to re-route around the track. Yes the track was mounted badly to support the new forced air system.

I think I have recovered from election day. Still have my massage at 7 to look forward to. And garage door replacement has been postponed a day, so I had a chance to rearrange (pile everything in the back) without haste. I leave you with my first post planting/deer snacking rose bloom.

Don Juan rose open and soaked with fresh rain. It is a bright red and every surface glistening with light. Water can be seen pooling between every petal layer.

It was still so very very fragrant, even flooded as it was!

3 of 4, and all east of the driveway holes out front finally filled. I know they take effort, but I'm very excited about the roses. Eventually by next spring, the entire top of the hill in front of the house will be flower garden.

Went to Pike Nursery for a specific rose for my remaining upper hole. They didn't actually have it, but I found the rose for my lower hole.

Today was The Pirate Princess Tizzy's last day of daycare. Next 2 days are just us doing fun things for a 17 year old schnoodle. Probably lots of naps next to me. One of the folks there did the canvas and they took the paw print today.

One thing in Linux I'm MISSING, is thermal notification via the RGB lights. I could resolve this but I have currently settled on my OS. So I spent some money on a toy and got one of those Turing serial over USB screens. Very fun. Even got the weather api in the python app setup. Custom theme next.

Small 5" diagonal screen. It's magnetically attached to my entertainment center door.

The display info isn't actually important detail wise. But it's showing CPU temp, usage % and mhz. Along with gpu usage, temp and memory usage, system memory usage, main disk usage info and current weather in the lower right corner.
