My day Busking at the brewery market An early 6pm ghost walk. There was daylight for some of it so I point out the tallest granite spire in North America, just an interesting tourist nugget. An 8:30 ghost walk. An Olands to wet the whistle. At Magnolia. Halifax’s smallest and coolest bar.

A restaurant along the route, once again had their outdoor speakers playing too loud. Why do they think that this is a draw. I would assume the restaurant was just as loud inside and avoid it. Anyway I made a derisive comment then thought of Dolly and kindness and apologized to my guests.

In the last two years I have read a lot of Dumas. It’s awesome. The Count of Monte Christo, abridged & full. 3 musketeers and sequels. Valois trilogy. The black tulip. 1001 ghost stories. What else is available? I’ve also read Hugo’s Les Misérables and saw it in London. Looking for suggestions
