I feel tiny in this industry, but every once in a while, a Vietnamese fan will come out and be so proud to see a Vietnamese English voice actor. Makes you feel like you're leaving a mark, somehow. #voiceactor

On my Solo Leveling/Karate Kid arc. Gave myself 1 year to be ready to be a professional martial-arts actor. In my pursuit of being an Asian leading man, I’ve faced hurdles and ceilings enough to kill a dream, but you can’t kill a man that was born to be born again. #actor #martialartist #karatekid

Two years ago, I discovered Boogaloo-style Popping. Learning to freestyle completely changed me as a dancer and artist. Less about doing moves and more about reacting to music. Not a bone in this old school body. Happy International Dance Day! #internationaldanceday #dance #popping

Living in the United States my whole life has taught me to have a complicated relationship with martial arts. “Too stereotypically Asian.” What I’ve learned now that I’m older? Hating your culture is so silly. Decolonize your minds, people of the global majority. I’m white belt… again!

May you be resilient—flowing, waving, coiling—adapting to any obstacle. May you be liquid—too slippery for harm’s grip. May you outwit strength with softness. May you slither unnoticed and strike the same. May you have the wisdom of a snake. Chúc mừng năm mới! 恭喜發財! #yearofthesnake

Tired of seeing Christians be the bullies? At Irvine United Congregational Church, compassion for immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, people of color, and the climate are Gospel issues. We’re not just the most progressive church in Orange County, CA. We’re also the whimsiest. #progressivechristian

When I first started drawing, the biggest hurdle was rotating a 2D image in space, so I only drew faces head on. I'm happy to say I've surpassed that hurdle, which means the sky's the limit now. #sketch #procreate

Refined my last sketch some more by rendering light and shadow. My eye can't unsee light and shadow shapes in real life now. This is really looking like an actual person. Next is learning how to color.

Believe it or not, the precursor to me pursuing voice acting was actually drawing. What if I voiced the characters I drew? And the rest is history. I stopped drawing once voice acting became my new passion, but I'm picking the brush back up for the first time in years.
