Was noticing my very beefy custom desktop starting to be sluggish running WSL + VSCode and wondered why. Since when do Chrome + WSL take 16GB of RAM to run idle.... I get that memory is getting cheaper but there is no reason I need more than 16GB for standard operations.

Today was interesting. Stress tested some features by pinging 1000 ppl in the middle of the day. Expected mostly a dead response and got a bunch of replies in return further stress testing the system and winning. 🤩

I don’t like @hulutr.bsky.social to begin with because of ads but they have exclusive streaming rights to shows I watch. Problem is the start from where you left off feature always skips episodes. Caught it early this time but almost the 2nd time this has ruined a series for me.

The last few weeks have been a whirlwind! Moved back to GA, launched a new chat product at work, spoke at #ConnectTech, caught up with many friends. I'm very tired 😴 but also very fulfilled 🥰. Looking forward to this very lazy Sunday to relax and slow down for a minute.

When someone asks you for a specific thing to help them unblock themself, don't ignore their request and tell them to just figure it out for themself. That's just rude and short sighted especially when that person doesn't have permission to the thing they needed and was ultimately the solution.
