Just wait until you find out about dr. Pepper zero.

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 24/09/2026

This is one of those games that after playing it as a child I was convinced it was a fever dream. Nobody else had ever heard of it growing up. What a game though. Good times.

Slow damage is absolutely top tieeeeer.

Act three plays out exactly like chrono trigger. World is open, exploration and side quests galore. Or just do the story and get it over with. So it makes sense in terms of how rpgs tend to play out. Maybe feels a bit lacking because of the buildup to that point, but it’s fine. Great game.

It was really strange. They got their shipment early for some reason and the publisher or whoever was just like yeah that’s fine go ahead. Like oh uhh okay sure.

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

Please do not miss out on the gong show.

Back in the day for some reason EB games released awakening an entire week early by mistake. Just in Canada. Eve and myself took advantage of this fact. It was good times.

When they released a poll asking how everyone felt about the ability to get chubby and the universal response was not chubby enough you cowards. It’ll probably be fine. The series as a whole is fine with some standouts, it’s basically comfort food for a lot of people at this point. Pun intended.

010

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 11/09/2026

Going through this whole thing. Why do people got to be like that. Terrible that you had to put up with that. Don’t ever change quest 64 official. At least until the release of quest 65.

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I recall buying dread day one and sitting down and beating it immediately. My experiences can only be described as some type of fever dream. There’s no way you could ever prepare for that experience.

010

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

Yeahhhhh there he is, right on time hahaha

020

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 05/09/2026

The best sidekick to having played quest 64 is realizing there’s a meme page quest64 official and that it’s actually quite hilarious. I’m kind of surprised he hasn’t shown up here yet.

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 31/08/2026

And just think there’s only like 30 of these games out. Good luck!

Run around a bit that’ll help increase your agility.

The idea that it’s too much effort for a burrito place to take a picture of a burrito is just sad as hell. At least it would be if this burrito wasn’t so damn terrifying.

120

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 20/08/2026

I should probably get around to doing the extra stuff in that game that I never finished. Whoops.

110

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 13/08/2026

Take the larger number and use it to create some kind of Ponzi scheme. I hear people like those.

010

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 27/07/2026

The fact that the response was universally “even bigger you cowards” is just so perfect.

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

Amazing work as always. So many amazing bunnies to add to the collection.

I’m sure there’s a market for people who want to watch Johnny Depp mistreat poor people.

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 09/07/2026

It has been utter chaos on my end. Multiple vacations, overtime at work, and a flooded basement. Gonna be a few months still till I’m back but I should finally have spare time to watch some streams again soon.

000

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Yeah! Anytime. I’ll try and swing by the stream again soon. Been a while!

110

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 08/07/2026

Take all the time you need and do your best to decompress, relax, or whatever it is.

110

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

This has finally forced my hand into finding and reading this series. May as well seeing as how I’ve been putting this off for about 2 years now lol

110

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

This series is one of a few that’s an absolute bane of my existence. It sounds so much like something I’d love but it’s official English is digital only. Whyyyyy

110

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 20/06/2026

Shit dude that’s awful. Go be with family and rest up. Best wishes.

000

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

It’s just how this world setting functions. They use it in a lot of very interesting ways with other characters to explore how gender and pressure to conform to it can impact people. Ultimately the main character must also conform and understandably that’s gonna piss some people off.

010

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

Do you get a blinding light and annoying sound every time this happens? Cause really that’s the worst part.

000

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 18/06/2026

That’s partially untrue. There’s 4 endings. To which, yes, unfortunately the mc does have to gender conform. 2 male endings, 2 female endings. Each get a straight and gay variation. The manga reinforces the fact they will have to chose the entire time. It’s Disappointing but not surprising.

120

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

We could all use more big gay skeleton in our lives.

010

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 02/06/2026

Wait is this in addition to the giant skeleton? I didn’t realize there was also a Santa.

100

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 01/06/2026

Yessssssss. Yessss. Let the bunnies flow.

010

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 28/05/2026

The author also decided for some reason that nobody wears any underwear. There are certainly a lot of decisions that were made in regards to this manga.

000

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

We are going in a new direction with the company. Which apparently just involves chasing away like half of the talent. It’s a bold move for sure.

010

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

It’s over 1000 episodes long at this point so yeah hahaha best of luck

110

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 26/05/2026

Good luck. It is not an easy task to accomplish. Nearly one piece level of episodes and a million movies. Theres lots of ups and downs and hopefully you enjoy the ride.

110

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

Yeah there’s just so many games to play I’m not sure when I’ll ever have time to go back and play it again anyways. Appreciate the info though, thanks.

010

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

The localization of the second game was so amazingly bad. Sections of dialogue just not translated. And that boss fight that just freezes the game. Good memories for sure.

110

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 24/05/2026

This slungus should encourage us all to pick up a book. Way to teach us a positive life lesson as always slungus.

120

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 23/05/2026

They are awful every year. What was the most popular shounen award ceremony.

010

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 23/05/2026

They have really never been good. Even remotely. Typically it boils down to what shounen was the most popular. It has very little to do with what series was actually the best. Every year I hope surely this time! Alas the same thing yet again.

100

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

On the note of something somewhat similar. The manga “my journey to her” finally comes out in print in October. Autobiography about transitioning and the bureaucracy behind it in Japan. If you haven’t read it I’ll bring a copy over when it’s out. Absolutely amazing.

110

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Oh snap. I’d totally stream this game. Last time I played it took about 15 hours, can probably shave a couple hours off of that time.

120

Astraeus Duskmantle @duskmantlevt.bsky.social · 21/05/2026

Wait what how have I never heard of this. This is exactly the kind of thing I would read. I’m writing this down, thank you for your cooperation.
