Have y’all ever woke up and felt like you fought to the death with a train? That’s me today, apparently. I guess it’s time to make some coffee. 🫠

Also - apologies for spelling/grammar errors. I am exhausted and didn’t proof it before posting.

Which sucks, really, because I worked my ass off to get where I am now. I took this job because I believed in the mission (and took my prior job in federal service for the same reasons). And to have that possibly ripped away… it hurts like hell. Regardless, I’ll be strong in the face of adversity.

I have been bookmarking potential jobs in the event something does happen. I look at least once a week, because I just don’t know if tomorrow is the day I wake up and get told I’m being let go. I’m hoping and praying that doesn’t happen, but the possibility of it happening is always right there.

They’ve asked leaders questions that they don’t have the answers to. In some cases, some of them don’t even know if they are safe from the federal purge. I know I’m potentially not safe. I’m riding this out until they tell me one way or another if I’m staying or going, but…

Tomorrow is probably going to be rough at work. There are a lot of folks concerned about their jobs, their livelihoods and their future, and our leadership hasn’t been given any insight into what’s happening with everything happening in the federal workforce.

Eggs come in all shapes, sizes and colors. The color and size can sometimes depend on the breed of chicken, as well as the size of the chicken too. An example of this is in the photo: smallest egg on the left, and largest egg on the right. Bonus photobomb of a good doggo. 💚 #BackyardChickens

Two eggs of differing size are held in a hand, with a white dog looking up, probably expecting a treat.

Sunnyside Farm’s March Employee of the Month Post: Meet Nugget! Nugget is a 4 month old backcrossed olive egger who is a recent addition to the Sunnyside flock. She recently laid her first few eggs (in tornado weather, no less) and we are so proud of her. 💚 #FarmLife #BackyardChickens

Howdy folks! If you’re in the line of storms in the South coming through today, stay safe and weather aware! Make sure you know your shelter plan, and if you have to leave to get to a shelter, give yourself plenty of time before the storm gets to you!

One way I’m helping some folks in my community is by combating egg prices. I sell my farm fresh eggs for under current the current price in stores. Any money made goes back into caring for my chickens. 💚🐓

At first she was apprehensive and didn’t think she would like it, but soon learned that it was therapeutic and a much needed change. Inspired, she bought MORE chickens and established a hobby farm named Sunnyside Farms, and aims to highlight hobby farming for potential newcomers to the lifestyle.

Thanks so much, I love what Nox did with this design! Some lore (that honestly aligns with what happened IRL, and details plan): Sunny is a goat-gal who was all about that city life until she decided to make some life changes, and raising chickens quite literally fell into her lap, unexpectedly.

I have cried so much over the past few days. I’m a federal worker and I’m exhausted. We lost some amazing, talented people in the last few days and I feel like there is nothing I can do to help. I feel like sitting and calling my senators and reps won’t help. When does this hell end?

So I walked outside to take my dog out before the rain… and it sounds like someone is blowing the horn of Gondor in the distance, so if you need me I’ll be rallying the men at Rohan and riding to battle, I guess.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed my brief stint in VTubing while gaming. Thanks to those who tuned in, and those who stuck around. I’m always open to playing games with folks too - I’m not leaving games, just games while VTubing. Life took me in a different direction, & I feel like I should follow. 💜 (4/4)

Danni || Sunny☀️ @duskcipher.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

That said, I may still occasionally play a game or two, but the majority of my content will most likely lean toward an educational/informational vibe around hobby farm content. This will probably happen later in 2025 or early 2026. More info on that as it gets closer. (3/4)

Danni || Sunny☀️ @duskcipher.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

While I do want to return to VTubing, I don’t think it will necessarily be in the “traditional” sense of gaming while doing so. Rather, I’d like to focus on ways to bring information and what I’ve learned while hobby farming to an audience, while keeping it engaging with a VTuber ‘sona. (2/4)

Danni || Sunny☀️ @duskcipher.bsky.social · 21/11/2024

I haven’t really posted much in the way of #VTubing lately, but figured I’d give an update on my status. Currently, I’ve been super busy with my career and stuff at home. What I would eventually like to do is keep this account as my personal/IRL one, and branch out a bit in VTubing. (1/4)
