Wouldn't it be fucked up if Umamusume and Bojack Horseman took place in the same canon

whoever submitted "bropeth" to the @superartfight.bsky.social wheel of death a literal 5 years ago, I see you and I love you

student: what if I threw all these cards on the ground me: buddy, we are not playing 52 pickup 5 minutes before art class him: (throws his head back and pretends to tear off his shirt in slow-mo scream) (falls to the ground) me: c'mon drama queen, you can play 52 pickup at recess him: (revived)

the best part about being a struggling creative and also a teacher is the instant soul bros connection you have with other overworked creatives who also teach

Senator Andy Kim just went to the USAID building, talked to the security guard there to confirm employees are being barred entry, and then did a press gaggle right there in front to call it out. This is doing something. This is making an effort on messaging. Other Democratic lawmakers: take notes.

If, like me, you are unable to physically make it to the office (I cannot emphasize enough that you must if you can), feel free to borrow my script. Add a little of your own anecdote or perspectives to help close it off. Pastebin in reply.

lrp y'all have no idea the lightbulbs I've seen go off once I give comic students that context for Supes. It really is vital American art history imo. (this is also why my eyeballs glaze over whenever someone wants to drag the tired "but marvel better" gotcha out)

Reminder Superman is not a power fantasy, he's an altruism fantasy. The idea of someone with godlike powers using them solely for good (with an antagonist who is a billionaire, who by definition do the opposite) was dreamt up by Jewish kids in the 30s and its just as if not more relevant now.

new winner for the craziest thing I've had for confiscate from a student

A one-way road sign, torn off its base. It looks dented and scraped. It is leaned against a wooden bench against a stone building.

the most important thing I need to post about is how many enby students I have these days. cute little they/themmies running around and constantly asking me to draw them dragons and going on proud little tirades about how more books should have enby leads. there's a good future being built here.

when i first got into #jjba , i did a couple stands for myself and some friends with the intent of opening commissions...that never happened, and idk if they've migrated here yet, but i still feel warmly about the venture and had a lot of fun doing it 💚

i was working on a yonkishi/dragon knights doujin about them cooking campfire food back in 2019...it got eaten by a hard drive failure so I only have it in sketch format, but i'm glad i posted a couple screenshots to the bird app, preserving what it could've looked like
