Should I try this in non green Nissa or is this a terrible losing friends decision?

I think it depends on the deck and the intention. The Blue one could be quite bad if abused but I don't think is worth including in a deck unless you want to be the bad being. On that note though, you have no idea how much I wanted to put this into no green Nissa to test out.

Cards I like in my decks 34: in designing Nissa to be a summoner, I had to fill in the lower part of the mana curve with something to do that wasn't creatures. I decided on a fog and redirection package. Fogs won out, with some "fog" effects like Take the Bait protecting me until Nissa is online.

Totally got to post this. Went on a night hike a few days ago trying to watch some meteors. Trail was very level so navigating it wasn't too hard. Got some good pictures of the sky, but I'm not sure which phone of the four of us got the meteor pictures.

Cards I like in my decks 33: I posted some other time about the draw being weird in my Rosheen deck and Gilanra here is one of those sources of card draw along with being a mana dork. This helps both with the casting of hydras and other X spells and gets me that sweet card draw.

Not sure this will be good in Rosheen, but it's Fblthp and it gets me more lands. Too bad they aren't into play BUT because my card draw is kinda wonky sometimes I think he will work or fine. Adding some snow lands to up the land tutoring. Eagerly awaiting my mail for this and Ajani's Anguish.

Cards I like in my decks 32: Lim-Dul's Vault is certainly an odd card in name, but is easily a great card in anything where you need to manipulate the top of your deck and acts as a semi-tutor for a card you need otherwise. In Nissa, it does both, setting up for the landfall and boogey man reveal.

When I played Nissa at the LGS I had Gift of Estates in both games. I thought the card would be fantastic in the deck, but I dropped a land every turn so I could never use it because I had the most lands on field. Ironic. Still testing but my short list replacement might be Expedition Map

Cards I like in my decks 31: Annie Joins Up is actually a card I don't see too often, but does really good work with legends like Rocco here. Everyone essentially draws two cards, and I get counters and tokens doubled when he triggers. The five damage for removal is also surprisingly potent.

Cards I like in my decks 30: Koskun Falls was a card I owned years back when I was very intrigued with how the color pie wasn't nearly as well defined as it is today. When I built Y'Shtola and wanted pillow-fort effects, this was a card I rebought and added as a pet card that also does the thing.

Cards I like in my decks 29: in honor of my new Nissa deck I offer Inkshield. If you've played this card you understand why, but it fits nicely in with my fog/redirect package to save me early game as I drop lands to get Nissa online. It also won me a game this day after all my stuff was stolen.

While the Ur-Sphinx is in with Non-Green Nissa as a theft card, I do have an decent amount of sphinx from over the years I've been pulling from my boxes. The Ur-Sphinx is 0.25, so I picked up another in case I want to build that as a full mill and theft deck.

Cards I like in my decks 28: Bringer of the Last Gift is the creature version of Living Death (kinda) and being a creature based deck means it usually works better here depending on the recursion. It also, like many other creatures in the deck, can be discarded to make TAO less sad and more stompy.

Cards I like in my decks 27: Thaumatic Compass is a card I have in a few decks, to the point I actually keep a copy in the box I carry my tokens around in instead of buying a copy for every deck. A bit slow to grab lands, it's really the back side of the card that gets it included into my decks.

A card I like in my decks 26: When Lyra was spoiled I immediately knew I would windmill slam the card into Xyris. Making tokens in the deck happens as a function thereof, but very few fly. While I haven't gotten a chance to see her in action yet, I expect great and stupid things to happen. 😁

A card I like in my decks 25: Delney could go in a few of my decks but currently resides in Doran, Besieged by Time where she does good work with just about anything that wants to trigger another time, which is most anything in the deck. Ironically helps with evasion when Doran isn't there.

While I was at work today (first time on my own being boss and the Internet went out of course) my wife went to the local orchard and got me some fresh cider 🥹🥰

Honestly might be the first legend I build from FRA. Wasn't expecting that honestly. Need to find more cards to proliferate and maybe counter and fog stuff. Might finally be time to bust out a doubling season.

I don't use it. I have thaumatic compass. In just about everything. To the point it's a "token" in my tokens box so I can use it everywhere. Granted, there have been times I wish I could remove MY creature from combat, which this does and Spires cannot.

A card I like in my decks 24: Court of Embereth is a double-edged blade in Xyris, but in a good way. It provides another body for blocks and attacks and then burns for my usually decently high creature count. It also plays into the decks draw twice theme. Otherwise I get snakes and the knight anyway

Don't forget that white still runs a lot of land catch up mechanics, and specifically the map is useful for it's burgeoning-like effect. Bouncing or saccing lands might be useful as well Preston is going to be great here I think.

Also this. I've always wanted one. I started playing Magic during OG Kamigawa and this deck seems like a great reason to pick it up. I also have Ghost Town but a four color deck might not be able to use it. (Also Tempest has so many good cards)

Yeah, I'm building Nissa, as it's a pathway to many things my opponents are going to consider unnatural. The only real question is how to I keep the deck from being shadow banned. I'll post a list when I have more of the brew developed. Also bought this sol ring for it.

Oh my god.... I love this. Somehow ramp to her and just random sprout creatures into play. Am I about to be a problem? I want to be a problem.

Well, this is an easy include if I've nothing more flexible for a slot. Just remember it won't kill anything with a buff to toughness.

Me in a nutshell. I love experiencing other people's decks, especially when I can use it against them. Sometimes your opponent is the weapon you need.

A card I like in my decks 23: I've only gotten this giant out once while playing Feather, and let me tell you repeatable removal is amazing. Basically I use this card as a second Feather to get spells back to use again. Currently have another copy I'm trying to fit into Isshin.

Absolutely worthless to me and I just know I'm going to end up pulling this in slot from my bundle and being sad about it.

Don't really do anything with angels but the Blue Lyra would keep Xyris some excellent company.

A card I like in my decks 22: Stormtide Leviathan has never won me a game on its own, but has enabled me to keep multitudes of threats at bay while I prepare other win conditions and time to remove threats before I'm made vulnerable when it's eventually removed. Plus, discarding it turns on TAO.

Jace this, empower that. Cool and all, but I'm living also for the tiniest bits of lore about other stuff, like the Fomori-Eldrazi War.

A card I like in my decks 21: Balor here does a lot of stuff for the cost, assuming you get to attack or it dies. All around decent, but in Xyris it's particular talents help me make snake tokens, triggering a number of other abilities. Timing is a bit off for the burn part but it still gets it done

A card I like in my decks 20: Crackle with Power is a really good way to end a table with enough mana investment. It's also of one on the few ways Rosheen has reach beyond the Hydra creatures in my deck. The card itself also forces me to do math that often takes me more time than I'd like to admit.

A card I like in my decks 19: if I had to pick one card as first place for my fave White card, it's Dawn Charm. It has saved me and my stuff plenty of times, but my favorite memory of it was when it was stolen (in game) and used against my Isshin deck. Took away my victory but it was hilarious!

A card I like in my decks 18: generally I disapprove of free spells, but making spells potentially free is more fair game. My YShtola deck is a bit clunky (pre update) and As Foretold has helped immensely at both helping me cast a few extra spells and sometimes keeping me in a game at all.

A card I like in my decks 17: High Fae Trickster finds its home in my Maralen deck. Probably obvious, but it can enable so much for the deck, including casting spells from opponents at instant speed. It does this so well in fact it was removed and returned four times last I played the deck.

Cards I like in my deck 16: I was thinking about how I generally like basic lands and the assured mana they create but couldn't think of which to post. Eventually decided on this one. While I usually choose basic land art to match the vibe of the deck this one wasspecifically choosen for the samurai

A card I like in my decks 15: Monastery Siege offers card draw/selection or protection to you and your stuff. Its been in many decks I've made and if I'm honest I'm not sure if it isn't in every one I have with blue. So, that'd be Maralen, The Ancient One and YShtola (the last two for sure).

Came across Earthbind while scrolling and 'spicy book' or 'thirst trap' secret lair when? What would you pick for the cards? I went for the art and what I remember to be comments on these, but it could be any card if you change the art 'enough'.

A card I like in my decks 14: Rhet-Tomb Mystic hasn't been in TAO long, but has already shown itself to be a valuable include to get out of stalled play and fill the yard with good reanimation targets. It's especially good with Golgarin Thug, which in combo with Thassa's Oracle can end a game quick.
