It's hard to grasp how much ADHD meds have helped me. It's like someone finally poured oil into an engine that has been grinding and tearing itself apart. It's not just the easy task initiation or the focus. It's quiet and calm. I'm even lowering my anti-depressant dose (with my doctor's help)

It bears repeating that 5calls.org makes it incredibly easy to contact your reps. They give you the phone numbers, a script to read, and a run down of what is happening with each issue. I just called my senators in my pjs half awake and I'll probably do it some more later
