We just had a 3.7 quake here in Boonville. The whole barn just shook like something struck it. I jumped up ready to bolt into action mode but nothing happened further. Boonville has had 3 in the last 24 hours but we didn't feel anything. Geyser's have been very active too just south of here. 😨🌋

It's the end of summer and I thought I would share Keith's beautification project. Personally I hate it but whatcha going to do when you have lived with someone for over 37 years. At least it is colorful. Just wish more thought went into it.

I made a comment on a friends Bsky feed today & some asshole reposted my comment with "Save the Children of Gaza give us money" post. I've blocked and reported a few of these in the past month. 🤬 Bsky needs to address this.

Thought it would be proper to wear this old tee from Loot Crate today. 🏴‍☠️ Probably play an old Batman game later too to. 😁 I wanted to go to the county fair tonight but Keith poo-pooed it. I don't want to go by myself. Maybe he's right. You seen one fair, you've seen them all and we've been to many.

Probably just me but when I see the Greenland flag it reminds me of a Poké Ball.

Made my first peach cobbler today. And with my usual derpy attempt at creativity it's goofy looking but I have no doubt it will taste delicious. The house smells like cinnamon & nutmeg.

My neighbor's cat has been coming over every day this week and sleeping in my chair until evening. They are all at work and school and I believe Tommy Cat just wants to be around people. I'm allergic to most cats but his dander doesn't bother me and he is attracted to me for some reason.

Nintendo sale finally here with 30% off. Which one should I get? Super Mario Bros. Wonder or The Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword HD Wonder looks wonderful and fun but it would be nice to play Skyward story without using motion controls.

Early b-day present from Keith. Fable Beard Oil "The Distiller". Not overly vanilla or bourbon but the blend smells great.

Friday Tunes @4:20 Animals by Pink Floyd 2018 Remix (originally 1977) After watching clips of the idiots in Dallas this week I thought this would be an appropriate listen. The clarity and separation of the tracks with improved bass & drums. I really like this remaster.

I've been walking again after months of being sedentary. My legs feel it. I'm short of breath too but I do sleep a bit better. The hills try to slow me down but I just sing old army marching songs to keep up the pace. The fact that I turn 70 on Sunday scares me.

Saturday Tunes @4:20 Get Ready by New Order (2001) Haven't listened this album in years. Crystal, Turn My Way, Vicious Streak, Primitive Notion, Rock the Shack and my favorite 60 Miles an Hour. Many more. A really good album to just "chill" to. Cherry Ember Hybrid Flower.

Today's Steam deck update broke my Decky Loader and all of my plugins. A factory reset & Konsole commands didn't fix it but upgrading to the prototype version on Decky loader worked. 😁

If console companies are going 100% digital then maybe they should give me the console for free so I'm locked into their corpo-sphere. We are renting the game. Maybe I shouldn't of taken another hit of that extract. 🥴

Keith is going down the rabbit hole. 7 Days to Die rabbit hole. I won't be joining him. Not my kind of fun. Glad to see him do something other than watching TV though. Besides he left me hanging with Split Fiction after just one evening of playtime.😠

My older brother shipped off to Viet Nam for a 2nd tour and gave me his record collection. When I was 15 and had the house to myself I would put In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida on the Grundig console and perform a 17 minute interpretive dance fully naked. Wish I had recorded it.

I was looking for Aardvark Sauce but found this. Fruity, spicy and delivers the heat without blowing my head off. Perfect on my pizza and paired well with ranch dressing. 4🌶️out of 5 😋

I've read a few articles recently and have come to the conclusion that homophobia is rampant with male athletes. Afraid of trans, drag and queer culture. There is/are exceptions but wtf?

I expected it to taste like a cream soda. Boy was I wrong. Didn't expect the tartness. Reminds me of SweeTarts candy. Love the micro-carbonation. Good soda pop👍

I hate waking up to no water. After searching all over, someone on the ranch left the water on all night and morning for the chicken/geese pool. Ran the tank dry and a good way to burn out the water pump at the well. 🤬
