It's with a heavy heart I say goodbye Brynjolf Before we adopted him he had been through hell and back and struggled with so much pain and suffering He was the sweetest boy and deserved the best and we gave him what we could in the year we had him after adoption We love you and miss you

Brynjolf Odinson

was a senior cat we adopted in March of 2025. His adopted name was puzzle because when they found him he was missing a large part of his neck and it was hanging off like a puzzle piece. We would also later find out at some point during this time he has been shot at multiple times by a BB gun with many of the pellets still lodged in his body. He was taken in and treated and made a recovery. In the home of one of my close friends who fostered him he grew to be one of the sweetest gentlemen. My wife and I adopted him and did what we could to care for him for the next year. He started behaving a little off and we took him to the vet. After an X-ray we find he had fluid buildup in his lungs making it hard for him to breathe. After trying to get care for him at the local pet hospital the fluid came back within a couple hours making it even harder for him to breathe. We tried to care for him and nothing was working. He wouldn't eat, he wouldn't drink. We even tried offering his favorite, some pieces of rotisserie chicken and he denied it all. We had to make the hard decision seeing him suffer and had to say goodbye.

He was fullof love and even in his final hours he was leaning into every heat pat and head bump we gave him.
