Throw back Thursday. #TBT For those unfamiliar- I am holding a “phone” that was attached to a wall and the piece of it in my hand was attached to that with a cord. Best upgrade was when the cord reached all the way to the living room and you could be mobile with it.

In addition to the commentary on masculinity, I read it as a warning- get therapy. Compartmentalizing, trying to contain (via lying to yourself, or imprisonment)… only builds up until a monster is created, then when let loose, destroys.

These two are ultimately not even a half-man in total. Rubens manipulation through physical violence + Niall’s manipulation through emotional= a train wreck that witnesses should have seen coming & instead watched. If it wasn’t set pre-cell phones, I imagine they’d all be filming it.
