and with larger data sets being able to pinpoint things easily by some easy number is pretty convenient i cant speak on this more though since i havent done numpy pandas linspace matlab whatever in FOREVER and i personally preferred doing it by hand bc i hate myself and love math

some of these are useful in terms of if u ever want to work in machine learning, data science, etc. or just to brute force some crazy math shit to get ideas, youll need to learn how to write these scripts/know what these functions do in the long run. linspace for example is useful in DS

ali (slime) 🇵🇸 @drumsofjoyboy.bsky.social · 26/09/2026

we had to do these for my data science/ai/numerical linear algebra classes but it was mostly to learn how to use the functions so people wouldnt be behind in class. what the parameters were for example

This is absolutely nuts: hackers are hijacking high-profile Instagram accounts by simply asking Meta's AI chatbot to change the email on the account. Meta's AI does it, hacker gets password reset code, they're in. A staggering security issue www.404media.co/hackers-simp...

Hackers Simply Asked Meta AI to Give Them Access to High-Profile Instagram Accounts. It Worked

The exploit shows the extreme risk of offloading technical support to AI.

I clown on Riot a lot but I do feel bad for the 2XKO staff. Unfortunately, I knew this was going to happen sooner than later because I have been blindsided by Riot before. If a project of theirs doesn’t make a billion dollars in a year, they leave it to sunset and then leave it in maintenance mode.
