Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 21/09/2026No question. I’ve never in my almost 50 years blamed the manager alone - but he makes mistakes on and off the field and blames everyone but himself. This is an easy call. 010
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 19/09/2026Why pinch him there - don’t you want to wait and have a (slightly) better OF defense? 100
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 19/09/2026It’s exciting. A little late, but it’s something 000
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 09/09/2026This has been obvious for 2 years. But it’s amazing to add up all the failure. 000
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 04/09/2026Exactly. If you are gonna make mistakes at least own them. 000
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 04/09/2026We are so very very badly managed. And he takes no ownership 000
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 26/08/2026I said in a diff thread - but when was the last time we signed a FA who did what we expected/needed them to do? Tejada? 010
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 26/08/2026When was the last time we signed someone to a big FA deal who did what they were supposed to do? Tejada? It’s so nice 010
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 15/08/2026I mean seriously. That was not fun at all. 010
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 25/07/2026I want to give him a shot, but it’s mistake after mistake and no accountability. If you are gonna lose in your first year - at least be a stand up guy. 140
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 30/06/2026I’m there. Leave hope behind for another year. 010
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 11/12/2025My standard line is can he pitch as well as Davis 000
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 31/07/2025Yeah it’s all the right move (ofc depending on return) - but still upsetting 020
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 23/07/2025@mattkremnitzer.bsky.social have followed you forever and you have a good sense of things. What is your take on what kind of return the Os should try to get for their middling trade prospects? Low ceiling guys who may play next year or high upside/high risk younger depth that maybe we can trade? 100
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 20/07/2025I feel like one issue is they try to find the project to solve too much. It’s like too cute all the time, because they were successful with a few. No one is a high probability. All are an experiment. 000
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 13/07/2025The light angle here is uh …unfortunate. 100
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 06/07/2025Maybe they know he’ll get cursed and more injured by simply being a Baltimore Oriole Catcher. 030
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 04/06/2025It’s really impressive defense too. Not world beating but solid in two positions. 000
Dr Thornton Melon @drthorntonmelon.bsky.social · 20/01/2025Not an Eagles fan but a PSU fan. What a ducking joy it must be to get him on your team. Many fine returns 000
