Truly, it makes me wanna make stuff

I am at NYCC today, rocking a 7.5 foot spear and a guy in a Final Fantasy cosplay flagged me down for a photo. He told me he watched me build me spear on IG and it inspired him to make the giant ass staff he had. I have never actually cried at NYCC but man I got close

I really beat down my to do list yesterday so today it’s just creative things. The drawing goal is to get my Linktober pieces done through 17. Currently 13 and 14 are ready for color and the other three need a final sketch. Also need to throw a solid 30 minutes at a fic.

Planning out our last two shows for Bigger and Weirder and it appears my camera is legal for both. Assuming it gets into both, this will be the first time I’ve done an entire tour without getting the camera banned. I wonder when the streak started… I remember getting yelled at in Vegas 2025

Going through my DragonCon swag finally and this was one of the most amusing bits I brought home- I got into a discussion about Zelda with the concierge guy and offered him a fairy bottle. He took it and then gave me this with the apology that he didn’t have stuff to trade but he had these.

Also spouse got a new vacuum cleaner. He loves to vacuum. Like, genuinely loves the vacuum. I’m doing my basement stuff to stay out of the way and the cats have joined me like we are all huddled together in fear of the vacuum

One of my projects today was replacing the sisal on the cat tree and Skyler was openly appalled when I starting tearing the old stuff off. She went to touch the naked cardboard cylinders and looked at me like I was a monster. She watched the whole time as I got glued new sisal on.

And done! Much tougher fight than I recall- he kept dodging me! I died like four time except for fairies saving me. I forgot to cook gloom food. Oooooops I still have so much I can do but I think I’m swapping it up a bit.

October is busy so I am trying to get Linktober stuff done ahead of time. Ideally I want the first half of the month done before I post. Right now I have 5 finished pieces and another three sketches ready for color. I did plot out all my ideas already so I’m already ahead of the last two years I did

I mean, he did not get the museum tour. He did have to go through the horse room to get to the furnace though and said not a single word.

We had furnace maintenance scheduled today and I’m not sure the guy who showed up has graduated highschool. He is very polite and nice. Also impressed by the Weird Al memorabilia inthe living room.

Decided to start the end game in TOTK since I’ve been piddling around for months, so I finally recruited Riju, did the castle bit, and got the final two memories. Then my controller ran out of juice so I gotta go beat down Ganondorf tomorrow I guess lol.

On to phase 2 of Fighting my Giant Photo Library into submission. It looks like everything made it into the photos app and iCloud. Now to go to get Photobucket (or whatever it’s being called now, that frankly makes me nervous) to upload it.

They were bitten by something else rabid that is dead now. The incident was probably not observed because of how beef cattle are raised.
