He is fixed and also sort of has a home…older lady She does feed him and he can go inside if he wants. He just doesn’t want to! He’d rather hang out in my yard. I’d definitely get him fixed if not- took him to vet once for an eye injury and that is how we found out who his owner is!

I also have a bonus not my cat. If I sit on my patio he climbs in my lap. He knows when I come home from work and waits for me. I feel sorry for the guy but I already have enough cats.

I teach AP gov and am livid about these changes. I honestly don’t want to teach it anymore. It’s such an important class for students but the curriculum is an absolute mess. It was already founding fathers fan fiction before adding Smith.

As an American political historian, I can confirm that this Congress has been "almost unmatched in history" in several categories -- sad abdication of its war powers, craven surrender of the power of the purse, weird refusal to conduct meaningful oversight, and an utter failure to pass actual laws.

I have just hit 100lbs lost in 2.5 years on various types and dosages of GLP1s Please don’t clap. All I had to do was be vaguely to acutely nauseous pretty much all the time. It’s the only thing that has ever worked in 30 years so it’s worth it but I’m so over it. (This is not a plea for advice)

My own kids are in college now but I remember when their elementary school first implemented it and it really gave me the ick- I wasn’t even a high school teacher yet and still knew it wasn’t a good idea. My kids are neurodiverse & PBIS was actively harmful to them (in different ways!)

When my now 23 year old was a preschooler he was obsessed with slimey. I made him a slimey costume for Halloween. He only communicated in slimey squeaks. (Yes he is autistic ☺️) Happy birthday slimey!

Bell to bell is one of the biggest scams perpetrated on us in teacher school. More minutes does not equal better outcomes especially when transition between classes is so short!

I teach a HS class on American law. The first unit is on the rule of law & what makes it strong in a country. When I told them there is a direct connection between 9/11 and the flock cameras they hate they were hooked. Every single aspect of the rule of law is worse now than it was on 9/10/01.
