Where were there not contempt proceedings NOW?!! They literally ignored the judge, 450+ trees were slaughtered, and the gov't has zero remorse for what they did. Zero accountability. Zero fucking care, which should have been met w ugly sanctions....and not just "angry" words.

Removing health and established trees can be catastrophic to the local ecosystem. Tree root systems can stabilize soil to help during flooding, so killing a bunch of trees can have severe consequences.
