Enjoyed this and had a lot of thoughts. Conditions for street football always should be imperfect. That’s the point and a new problem. Also, street footballers in South America isn’t just skill, also rugged and tough. Tevez is street. There’s an idealised imagination of who they are

Can’t help thinking that the punishment for the Argentinian players is much more severe than for the AFA. Can’t see those fines or stipulations making any difference whatsoever to discrimination awareness for instance. Will likely only stimulate a nationalistic rejection of any problem existing
