Thrilled our paper on the huge benefit of screening ultrasound for women with Categories c and d densities is published! 5257 women screened, 32 cancers. ie 6.1/1000 84% in Cat c, 62% with NO family or personal hx journals.sagepub.com/doi/10.1177/... Hope more centres in 🇨🇦 will offer it.

Correct! And for women with no other life-threatening illnesses, that extends into the 80s.

We're making progress 🇨🇦 but still a ways to go for optimal and equitable screening. Missing from this chart is supplemental screening for dense breasts and high-risk programs because so few provinces offer them. Let's give all Canadians the best chance to find breast cancer early!
