My mom got my brother and I these Lou Gehrig hats. Dad passed of ALS last November, and bro and I both inherited the gene mutation. I am currently asymptomatic. My daughter and his kids will likely inherit it too #EndALS

My experience, thanks to my parents, was of liberation theology within Catholicism. Helping the oppressed. We moved to Brazil as missioners to live with the poor. Later in life my mom worked on corporate responsibility (‘no smoking in kids movies’ was one of her causes). Dad was a hospice chaplain.
