That felt even more impressive than last week. Total dominance against an established WSL side. Yes, Villa were poor but that's because we made them look poor. The movement and link up play was superb. Haven't been that excited by watching any Spurs team since the Poch era. Glory glory TH #COYS

I know she was injured for a long spell at Arsenal, but I really didn't realise Pelova was this good. Some great signings made by Spurs women aka Good Spurs #COYS

Flippin YT ads. Just as Gaupset burst into the box my feed cut to an ad. Missed the goal, but so relieved we finally scored!

Glad that there's no VAR in the WSL, but there really needs to be goalline technology, especially as the WSL continues to grow. That looked in live on TV. Be nice to know for sure #COYS

Here's today's column on the astonishing, ongoing mistreatment of people with #ME/CFS. Please spread it far and wide: the only thing which can break the media's wall of indifference is seeing an article about the issue go viral. Thank you. 1/2 www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Abandoned, dismissed and gaslighted: there is no excuse for the way ME sufferers have been betrayed | George Monbiot

Changes in guidance and science seem to have little impact on millions of devastated lives. It’s a social crisis playing out behind closed doors, says Guardian columnist George Monbiot

One of my Mum's favourite expressions when I was growing up 😂

Very much appreciate this response. Can't emphasise enough that having a chronic illness is devastating. I'm lucky in the sense that mine fluctuates, and I have a reasonable quality of life for much of the time. But it was much "cooler" before I got ill.

Will watch on catch up later. Looking forward to it very much!

Sorry I didn't reply. I could only watch the first 20 mins as we had to go out, and had no ads or issues this week during that time. Only just seen the score, so I hope you managed to see all 7 goals uninterrupted. What a result!

Were they caught on camera looking into a portal at Spurs circa 2026 by any chance? Exactly my facial expression these days when watching them 😞

My favourite too. Played it to death after release. Still regularly give it a spin. What a record!

Not seen the Battles performance so will look that up, but I remember watching At The Drive In when the show aired and yes 😲 Stunning!

New @kristinhersh.bsky.social is sounding wonderful so thought I'd dig out my old and rather tatty looking limited edition CD copy of Hips and Makers for a tea time spin. Still sounds amazing 😍

A tatty looking CD digipack copy of Kristin Hersh's debut solo album Hips and Makers.

Nice to have a break from the men always taking the shine off the women for a few weeks. Really excited again about the women this year. Not sure I'd be coping without them right now. Keeping me Spurs sane.

Her kicking was off last week too. I wonder if the smaller balls are at least partly to blame?

I was thinking exactly that at 2-3. A 0-3 defeat is so much harder for the manager to sugarcoat. And I'm a bit sick of the 'we were good for the first 30 mins' takes. So what? We've failed to win. Again.

What's making supporting #Spurs so hard atm, is not just that we are stuck in a losing doom cycle that no amount of spending can fix, but that since Ange was sacked we've appointed two very unlikable managers with no connection to the club that don't seem to take any responsibility for the results.

Yes, sounds amazing. And Bossanova too. To be fair I only have the original CDs for comparison, but really happy with the Dinked vinyl pressings. Glad I managed to pre-order these. Lovely stuff!

A decent point, despite letting the lead slip. Olivia has to start next week (unless she is managing a slight knock - can't understand her being benched otherwise), and thankful to Lize and Tōko for being solid at the back. Signe good again, and fingers crossed Cathinka was just a knock #COYS

Om getting ads every 10 mins which didn't happen once last week. Strange.

Brilliant. Thank you. That's much appreciated!
