DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 04/04/2025It’s been difficult as an Australian Chelsea fan to find a line between enjoying Tottenhams pain and wanting to see Ange succeed 010
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 04/04/2025But he’s been talking about VAR like this for a while and I think he’s point is missed. He thinks the delays ruin the spectacle and that decisions are inconsistent and he isn’t wrong in fairness. Prefers the imperfection of the human referee but we can’t go back to that now 000
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 04/04/2025I’m from Australia and have been watching Ange for decades. The man is the real deal. He’s super misunderstood in England. It doesn’t help that the fanbase at his club are a disaster. Could see the relationship was over when he had to apologise for preferring a Spurs win to an Arsenal loss 010
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 03/04/2025Spoiler alert! Beef tallow probably won't be the same price by the morning. 010
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 23/03/2025Not exactly a scholar of international law over here. But surely it can't be legal to deport anybody to a country they are not a citizen of against their will right? 000
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 20/03/2025@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social I am from Australia and our Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme (PBS) has been in the news this week. I thought Americans might find it to be an interesting read to see what things are like elsewhere given the cost of medications there www.abc.net.au/news/2025-03...abc.net.auWondering what the PBS is? Your most common questions answeredYou've probably heard a lot about something called the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme — or the PBS — this week. Here are some of your most commonly asked questions. 000
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 20/03/2025Why would anybody launch an impeachment of a President with no regard for the Constitution, Bill of Rights, Allies, Court Orders, Human Rights, Foreign Sovereignty or standard processes? Shocking revelation 000
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 19/03/2025It was just a bad joke. Thats the shop that claimed to have received Hunter Bidens laptop for repairs 😂 100
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 19/03/2025I hear The Mac Shop in Wilmington Delaware is good. Ask for John Isaac 100
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 19/03/2025What is the difference between rounding up foreigners based on their tattoos and sending them to a foreign prison without due process and out of jurisdiction of appeals courts and WW11 concentration camps? Struggling to make the distinction. Asking for a friend 000
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 19/03/2025Silver lining, and I doubt clever or ballsy enough to have done on purpose, but Chuck's vote means lockdown avoided which might still have been the worst outcome and now we are having a longer, more robust debate than we otherwise would have had no? 000
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 19/03/2025I'm from Australia so haven't really paid a lot of attention to US politics until Trump era. Question. Is it normal for the VP to have his face in every f-ing photo in the Oval Office when a foreign leader/diplomat visits? Seems JD has his nose in everything and seems unusual to me 110
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 19/03/2025This man is genuinely at a loss as to understand why there is a backlash to his actions. No self awareness to be seen 000
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 19/03/2025Poor fella wasn't himself. What with all the Trump Derangement Syndrome and whatnot effecting his mental state 010
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 19/03/2025I wonder how long until we learn that if we put hate out in to the universe, hate comes back and hits us in the face 1170
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 19/03/2025Curious. How far does the blatant disregard for the constitution and the law need to go before impeachment becomes a conversation? Surely there has to be a limit on how much some Republican reps will accept... right? 100
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 18/03/2025Gary Stevenson breaks down wealth inequality & its impact on our economy in 'How to Stop the Economy From Collapsing.' DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 17/03/2025Through his lack of fight it seems he's actually ignited fight in others so I guess it's not all bad 020
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 17/03/2025Spot on. Its wild how many Trump supporters push policies that directly contradict their own supposed values and behavior 010
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 17/03/2025Love your work and really enjoyed your book Gary. Keep up the good fight. 000
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 26/02/2025Good to see Christo on the scoresheet. Bloke needs to build some confidence and find belonging in this side 010
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 25/02/2025I think Chelsea needed a big win with as little Palmer influence as possible. Good to see goals from different sources. Neto starting to grow in confidence and looking very positive. Some players starting to look a little tired though which is a concern. 010
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 25/02/2025An underrated talent is picking the perfect photo for an article post. Amazing 000
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 22/01/2025Thoughts on Mills or the 💩? Currently at a point where I think I'll need to have one or the other but won't fit both? 000
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 22/01/2025Pre-season training reports super handy to get a feel for positional/role changes and how rookies/trade recruits are faring at new clubs 000
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 22/01/2025The Bont. Never disppoints. In other news. @alpaton-supercoach.bsky.social Keen to get your opinion on Sam Powell-Pepper. I'm hearing the expectation is he'll be fit for round 1 and is only $180,500. Worth a crack? 010
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 29/12/2024#AtoZStudioAlbums #musicchallenge Day 17 - Wildcard Mr Bungle - California This album is as f***ed up as it is brilliant. Never heard anything like it before or after. An intense listen but some pockets of absolute magic. My favourites: ‘Sweet Charity’ ‘Goodbye Sober Day’ ‘Retrovertigo’ 060
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 27/12/2024#AtoZStudioAlbums #musicchallenge Day 16 - P Led Zeppelin- Physical Graffiti Awesome album from one of the most important bands in rock history. Chunky riffs over Bonham grooves, can’t go wrong. My favourite is ‘The Wanton Song’. ‘Kashmir’ is an absolute classic. 0100
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 26/12/2024#AtoZStudioAlbums #musicchallenge Day 15 - O Radiohead - OK Computer My favourite album. Everything about this is on point. The arrangements, the orchestration, the vocals, the guitars, the drums, the emotion. ‘Let Down’ is my favourite song in the known universe. 0120
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 25/12/2024#AtoZStudioAlbums #musicchallenge Day 14 -N Nirvana- Nevermind Another genre defining record. In my early 20s I worked a job with a lot of younger teens who needed to learn the ways of rock. This was the gateway drug to indoctrination, the first one I’d make them listen to. Iconic. 0130
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 24/12/2024#AtoZStudioAlbums #musicchallenge Day 13 - M Metallica - Master of Puppets The perfection of a genre right here. The first time I heard this album I listed to the first track 'Battery' 5 times in a row before I could even get to the second track. Standouts - Tracks 1 through 8 0290
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 23/12/2024#AtoZStudioAlbums #musicchallenge Day 12 - L QOTSA - Lullabies to Paralyze An album of 2 halves. Despite being released in 2005, this one really has a Side A and Side B feel. I absolutely love 'Tangled up in Plaid' an 'Everybody Knows That You Are Insane' though 'Little Sister' is the hit. 1200
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 22/12/2024Wow I haven’t heard underwater live in at least 10yrs, time to give it a spin. Classic tune 110
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 22/12/2024#AtoZStudioAlbums #musicchallenge Day 11 - K Miles Davis - Kind of Blue If you have a record collection that doesn’t include this record, do you even have a record collection? For me, this is whiskey music. 2210
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 21/12/2024#AtoZStudioAlbums #musicchallenge Day 10 - Wildcard Oasis - Definitely Maybe It's not the one that gets the most glory, but this for me is the best we've seen from Oasis. One of those albums I can start right back up again as soon as it's finished. Standouts - 'Slide Away' & 'Live Forever' 1250
DRod @drod86.bsky.social · 20/12/2024#AtoZStudioAlbums #musicchallenge I - Day 9 Nirvana - In Utero This is the Nirvana album if you want to get up close and personal with Kurt Cobain's raw pain and brilliance. This is the Nirvana album you say you like if you want to appear a purist and not a corporate rock sellout lol. 0170
