My latest #woodturning project… the owl 🦉 This pattern emerged and I couldn’t be more thrilled. So I ditched the planned shape before the owl disappeared.

Here’s an example of my sweater design process. I get the basic shape then play with ideas given the yarn I have. This is three equal amount of green shades. Doing this for a friend to break her out of black and exclusively solid colors. I wonder which she’ll choose 😁

New #knit design 😁 I finally finished this sweater… I had a hard time deciding on the neckline. I really like the balance of asymmetry. #knitting is therapeutic!

A new #woodturning project 😁 I love the flower(ish) pattern. It took a long time since the pattern is actually a disease and very crumbly so I had to soak it many times to harden the wood for turning.

Flower pattern emerged from diseased wood which dictated the shape of the wooden bowl.

Do you use #AI? For work, fun, both? According to this LinkedIn survey, #Millennials and #GenX are likely to upskill while #Boomers and #GenZ don't see as much impact on their professional life. I use AI for fun... mainly messing with its reasoning LOL

How each generation feels about AI at work. LinkedIn market research. The youngest and oldest employees have more doubt about artificial intelligence impacting their jobs while mid-career employees are likely to upskill.

One of my hobbies is turning wood. Yup, I learned to work on a lathe in high school bc I studied mechanical engineering. Here is my owl bowl made a week ago.
