My sister was at a used game store and got me this as a gift. For some baffling reason it’s rated T when the other versions on consoles and GBA are E 10+. The ESRB website only lists “Fantasy violence” so I’m interested in looking up what makes this game more violent than the other versions.

Saw this and decided it would be fun to fill out. Did one for heroes and another for villains (except the final square). I'm against using the term "overrated" so I made those squares be characters I don't typically enjoy seeing, so their stories have to work extra hard to make me care about them.

Great suit. I'm think there's a good chance it might show up in Spider-Man 3 as an alternate costume for Cindy as it's mostly known nowadays for it being the costume of Mayday Parker.

Biggest issue with Star Fox multiplayer is that they expect you to use the Wolfen II when the original Wolfen is the far superior ship design.

There are plenty of air combat sims released since Star Fox 64. They just tend to not be on a lot on Nintendo platforms due to them being really technically demanding.

Spider-Man & Superman (again, again) This is another "Superman gives Spider-Man a pep talk" story which wouldn't be so bad if there weren't like three of those stories already. I like the idea of Superman helping Spidey grapple with Gwen's death but it's not very interesting to read. 2/5

Thor & Wonder Woman This is a cool team up and has far more interesting pathos than if it was normal Thor, Angela or Captain Marvel in Jane's place. Not really any connection to Spider-Man or Superman which I think is refreshing. 3.5/5

Spider-Man & Superman (again) Happy to see Bendis got a chance to write for Miles again. Fitting that he had him meet with Superman. That said this just a "Supes gives Spidey a pep talk" story with a much cooler more interesting going on in the background that I'd rather be reading. 2.5/5

Ghost Spider & Supergirl Just a classic condensed superhero team-up tale. They fight for a bit then they become friends (kind of). It's short, sweet, and to the point and actually pretty funny. 3.5/5

Thor & Steel I'm not really super familiar with Steel but I'm happy to see him when he pops up. Seems like the only reason he's here is because both him and Thor have hammers which is... something. Another one that's just kinda safe and forgettable. Not sure how'd you improve it though. 2.5/5

The Thing & Superman vs Mysterio & Red Lanterns Funny how Geoff Johns did a story which is only connected to Spider-Man by Mysterio being in two panels. You can tell he wanted to tell a much bigger tale than what the page count allowed and I hope he gets the chance to someday. I liked this. 3.5/5

Gwen Stacey & Lana Lang A crossover of the heroes' teenage sweethearts is such a wild idea that I can't help but appreciate it. That said it is just a few pages of girls gossiping about their boyfriends which is cute but kinda sad when you remember neither of them get the boy. 3/5

Spider-Man Noir & Golden Age Superman This is a fun idea having these two meet in 1938 during Superman's first appearance. I love the attention to detail like Superman doing the Amazing Fantasy #15 pose and not being able to fly yet, only leap. Don't love how Noir is written but it's nbd. 4/5

Spider-Man Superman This is a weird crossover. It's pretty minimalist, spending a majority of time with the heroes trapped underground. The real highlight is after the heroics are done and the characters have some deep adult conversations. Was really sweet seeing Aunt May meeting the Kents. 3.5/5

Jeff/Aquaman SO CUTE! Not nearly as cute as the Jeff & Krypto story but it's up there. I love how this comic is set in a universe where Aquaman is universally beloved, sort of the opposite of his pre-Jason Mamoa reputation. I want to learn more about this Titanus guy, he seems fun. 4/5

Supergirl/Blade Surprising it took so long to get Mojo into one of these crossovers he feels like such a natural fit. I don't really get why they teamed these two up they don't really have anything in common. This has a few fun gags by Mojo but the stuff with the heroes is largely forgettable. 2/5

Power Girl & Punisher This story's a shitpost and I love it. The internet's least favourite character, Paul Rabin, is here and gets dunked on mercilessly. Never thought I'd find Power Girl and Punisher to be a cute couple but you know Gail Simone sold me on it. Great art by Belén Ortega. 4/5

Daily Planet & Daily Bugle I guess if you've never read a story that explores J Jonah Jameson pathos you'd find this interesting. But I've read a lot of those and I didn't feel like seeing him debate Lois Lane brought anything new or interesting to the table. It was just kinda boring. 2/5

Jonathan Kent & Ben Parker I get what they're trying to do with this story but it just doesn't work. It's too short to have much of an emotional gut punch and the art doesn't do a good job making it clear who is who. I like the concept but I think it needed a lot of tweaks. 1.5/5

Jimmy Olsen & Carnage It's a short harmless gag comic. Showing Peter being in a polycule with MJ and Felicia is such an insane blink and you'll miss it visual gag that took me out when I first saw it. Real highlight for me was seeing a Phil Sheldon cameo in 2026! Marvels represent! 2.5/5

Superboy & Spider-Man 2099 Took me a sec to figure this out. "Oh cause Legion of Superheroes is in the future, right". It's fine but you can tell that the writer would have preferred doing Spider-Man 2099 meets Batman Beyond (they even put Terry in anyway) and I would have preferred that too. 2/5

Superboy-Prime & Black-Suit Spider-Man I really don't like this one so I'm just going to suggest you check out current Superman book by Josh Williamson & Dan Mora. It's the best Superboy-Prime has been since Infinite Crisis. Symbiote Spider-Man by Peter David & Greg Land is pretty cool too. 1/5

Lois Lane & Mary Jane Man as a Spider-Man fan I wish Marvel treated MJ as well as DC treats Lois. Gorgeous artwork as expected by Jim Lee. I'm not sure why Gambit is in this story but I guess it's cool Jim Lee got a chance to draw him again in an official capacity. Story is kinda forgettable. 3/5

Superman Spider-Man And we're back where it all began with Supes and Spidey. I like the implication this story makes that these two have been friends since their original crossover in the 70s. It's fun but also feels a little too safe and didn't have much of an emotional core. 3.5/5

Static & Ms Marvel No variant cover for this one either unfortunately. Has some cool parallels drawn between the heroes' family lives but that's about it. The art isn't bad but I feel like it could have used a much more expressive style for these youngster heroes. 2.5/5

Harley Quinn & Hulk The art's nice but I don't have much else to say. It's just a forgettable gag comic. A shame cause I feel like there could something interesting to explore with Harley's past as a psychologist but it's just not the kind of story they went with. It's fine, just disposable. 2/5

Nightwing & Wolverine Tom Taylor is one of the best writers for both these characters so it makes sense this would be good, but I'm amazed by all the parallels he was able to draw between two heroes I would've never thought of teaming together. That's the mark of a good crossover right there. 5/5

John Constantine & Doctor Strange I'm not really a fan of either of these characters but I will say their differing personalities make for a fun short crossover story. I also like how this is a stealth Swamp Thing & Ghost Rider story as well, although I probably have enjoyed that more. 3.5/5

Batman Deadpool Getting someone like Grant Morrison to write this is insane and I'm so happy they said yes. This story does not disappoint with non-stop meta-textual madness. Also shoutout to Dan Mora (possibly my favourite comic book artist) for pulling out all the stops for this story. 4/5

Thor/Shazam Much better than their fight in the 90s where they prayed at each other. Really enjoyed seeing a juiced up Mister Mind and seeing the gods of each universe he stole powers from was a lot of fun. Also very funny that Shazam is exclusively called Captain Marvel in this story. 4/5

Flash / Fantastic Four While Flash and FF makes for a decent crossover concept, this does a poor job and focuses way too much on the Flash side of the mythos. Like how do you have a FF story with Gorilla Grodd and not mention Red Ghost at least once? Feels like a wasted opportunity. 1.5/5

Logo I love Ryan North and so am happy to see he got something and it being an homage to Amalgam is great. Logo may not hold a candle to the greatness of Lobo the Duck but his bike having a "Made in Canada" bumper sticker on it sold me on him. Also the Thanoseid copter made me laugh. 3.5/5

Rocket Racoon & Green Lantern Sadly no variant cover for this one but this amazing art by Duke Ruan from the story will due just fine. A very goofy two page story that I wish was longer than two pages but what little is really funny. Please let Ewing do more with Rocket in future crossovers. 4/5

Daredevil & Green Arrow Happy Kevin Smith got the chance to write one of these for the two comic characters he's most famous for writing. Their banter is very fun and the conclusion of having a boxing glove arrow with Jack Murdock's glove on it is jut (chef's kiss). 4.5/5

Captain America & Wonder Woman I'm including all the backup stories as separate entries (thank you variant covers). FINALLY Diana headlines a crossover and this one is acts as a fun exploration of what a friendship between Steve and her would look like if they shared a universe. Very fun. 4/5

Deadpool Batman Incredible art by Greg Capullo and a funny script by Zeb Wells with surprisingly sparse fourth wall breaks from Wade. I do like that the first crossover in 20 years features a character who didn't become famous until after the last crossover ended. Low stakes but a fun ride. 4.5/5

As an artist George Pérez was famous for his ensemble scenes and this may be his magnum opus with hundreds of characters from both universes on every page. More than any Marvel/DC crossover before (or since) this captures the epic scale you'd want to see from seeing these two worlds colliding. 5/5

JLA Avengers #3 The previous issue was a bunch of fights and this is a bunch of moments of the heroes hanging out being chill. It is a bit slower paced than the previous issues but I like all the character stuff and the giant collage of Marvel and DC history by George Pérez was incredible. 4.5/5

JLA Avengers #2 Gives you as many JLA vs Avengers matchups as possible. It is a bit of a shame that the villains of this story are Krona and Grandmaster as they're kinda weak picks but it's clear they were chosen primarily to facilitate an excuse to get the two teams into conflict. 4.5/5

JLA Avengers #1 This is incredible! The difference in quality in this compared to the 90s DC versus Marvel crossover is insane. Characters are all spot on, writing is sharp and witty, and takes full advantage of crossing these characters over, and this is only issue 1 of 4! I'm in for a treat. 5/5

Unlimited Access #3 Finally get an Avengers vs JLA story! Hurrah! And then Electric Blue Superman shows up and ruins the vibe. Ugh. At least the rest of this issue is fun, literally just Access summoning more and more of his favourite action figures into a fight against Magneto and Darkseid. 3.5/5

Unlimited Access #2 Can't believe I'm saying this but they actually managed to find a way to make Access an interesting character. Bravo for that. Also I like how the conceit of this series is to throw out modern continuity in favour of featuring the most iconic versions of all these heroes. 3.5/5
