An autism-affirming consideration I implemented in my practice is that I book all relevant sessions, including the assessment feedback, at the time of initial booking. It’s hard enough to get time off of work, and this helps reduce

One of the cruellest things autistic people learn is that needing support means we’re failing. Then we become very good at waiting until we’re completely fucked before asking for help. I’d rather build support into life BEFORE catastrophe.
