shit shit i just remembered what i wanted to add to this: the voice acting peaked with the shit they were pulling in Wind Waker. Beedle and the cannon minigame guy are good examples of how much more memorable dialogue can be when its just someone making weird noises.

Hoping their takeaway from Water Temple's infamy is just that swapping boots was too cumbersome before and not that they need to redesign the dungeon entirely. Maybe replace having to play a song repeatedly to adjust the water levels and I think you've really helped its pacing issue.

Jump button is whatever, running is cool. Think those are both carryovers from BotW, I don't remember I played it once years ago. Funny we're moving away from assignable item buttons to just an item wheel, though I think a literal wheel would've been better than the slider.
