Dr Jobeth @drjobeth68.bsky.social · 14/09/2026So sorry. We had to do the same for our 20 year old cat yesterday. This feels like such an emotional kicking. I hope we all get through the worst of it soon. 140
Dr Jobeth @drjobeth68.bsky.social · 13/09/2026Am devastated to say we are now in the same boat (we had to do the right thing for our 20 year old cat yesterday). I do hope you are some way on from this brutal sadness now. 000
Dr Jobeth @drjobeth68.bsky.social · 13/09/2026I'm sorry to say that your pal Jones had to take his last visit to the vet's yesterday. To say we are devastated is an understatement. He was 20, and has been my faithful companion all that time. He came to us from the RSPCA and it was my privilege to spend his life with him #adoptdontshop 020

Dr Jobeth @drjobeth68.bsky.social · 06/07/2026Thank you for even mentioning it. I was diagnosed with Long Covid in December 2024 and still struggle with it daily. I feel like it has been airbrushed out of society. 0140
Dr Jobeth @drjobeth68.bsky.social · 04/07/20262/2 It's awful to feel that your party is no longer a place you call political home. I felt just that way when Corbyn/Momentum sat in leadership. I found a way to deal with my feelings and stay, but many didn't & I can understand that. I hope Labour feels like a place you can respect soon. 010
Dr Jobeth @drjobeth68.bsky.social · 04/07/20261/2 It's very hard, I know. The party has been through acrimonious times over the years; my experience as far back as the 1988 leadership contest (I was Team Benn). Lived through Militant, various divisions of left and right, and sometimes the distaste of witnessing personal ambition ever since. 000
Dr Jobeth @drjobeth68.bsky.social · 04/07/2026It's a complete debacle, I know. I wish someone would come forward as a second candidate for just the reason you suggest. But if that doesn't happen, we can choose to continue keeping our internal conflicts as the headline, or not. 150
Dr Jobeth @drjobeth68.bsky.social · 04/07/2026(2/2) I don't say that to suggest you are wrong in how you feel. Just that the support people need can only come from Labour, and that matters more. You have done such a fantastic job, getting the message out about current achievements. I do hope you will still feel able to do that - it is vital. 180
Dr Jobeth @drjobeth68.bsky.social · 04/07/2026I get how you feel but, at the end of the day, the opposition would love us to spend our energies fighting each other & not them. Leaders come and go (at least 8 during my membership). I've really not been on the same page with a few of them but my loyalty is to the Labour Party (1/2) 2140
