every period of time in which WWE has had a great tag division has been entirely on accident and generally does not last long before effectively becoming hyperfocused on one or two teams (lowkey AEW has become similar in that all relevant teams are singles guys paired up or older established teams)

its kinda nuts that aside from being over the main factor in them breaking out was bowens' performance in the first title match vs swerve and keith lee yet bowens has been stuck spinning his wheels since the split and now as a heel. i don't think TK is good at booking ascendant babyfaces tbh
