It's funny how the best thing to come from this game was the fantastic cover art, I mean, look at it! Aaron Griffin did such an amazing job, it sucks that it's tied to such an immeasurably underwhelming remaster.

The only way I've been able to enjoy release minecraft is by using Nostalgic Tweaks for gameplay, Golden Days for textures and Moderner Beta for world gen. Plus a few data packs for older generated structures. Its insane how much heavy lifting Nostalgic Tweaks does, you can get it almost 1-1.
