Drew @drewnelson.dev · 20/09/2026Can the Birmingham Legion owners also give Jay Heaps a red card? Maybe also hire him a realtor? 001
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 12/09/2026Get these refs some glasses man they can’t see the screen Should just remove video review altogether 010
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 12/09/2026Should have hired Lane so we could at least be CFB villains again 001
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 12/09/2026I’m sure this lesser SEC opponent on the road will be no problem for KDB and his star-studded staff, right? 010
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 05/09/2026Up by multiple scores but feels like we’re losing… bama football is SO back! 010
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 30/07/2026Lots of folks would like that, but they left because UAB couldn't keep the field playable and that seems to still be an issue for them. Legion attempted to go back, I think even offered to buy the place and let UAB play there, but they couldn't come to an agreement. 000
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 30/07/2026Well a lot of the folks that go live in or near downtown bham so it would be quite a change for them. Before I moved out of state I was about 15 min from Protective, but 40 from Dunnavant Valley. Some folks are in the middle or even closer for sure, but I don't think it's the majority of fans 110
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 30/07/2026They definitely want to explore out there, at least as a temporary option. I don't think folks wanna be driving out to Chelsea long term. Also yeah rain is a much bigger issue there, I spent years refereeing on those fields and they get sloppy real quick when it rains. 100
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 30/07/2026Rumors are that Legion is working on a plan to leave as well. No idea where to but I'm begging them to use Lawson Field. 000
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 30/07/2026BJCC (mis)management is a way bigger issue than the stadium itself, but even if that wasn't a problem it would still be too dang big. 010
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 30/07/2026Its fine in terms of build quality, but concessions are way overpriced, getting in from the parking lots is a hike, especially if you're carrying drums and flags for soccer games, and it's just way too big for the level of support teams in bham currently have. Even UAB needs 30k seats max. 110
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 30/07/2026The Met is too busy in the spring and you can't serve alcohol at Samford. Birmingham Legion FC is running into a similar issue with finding a venue that isn't Protective Stadium, which does suck. 200
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 12/07/2026Just truly awful, awful refereeing in this one. No attempt at providing equal treatment to both teams. 000
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 06/07/2026Hate the way it was handled, but it's the correct decision at the end of the day and that's what matters! 100
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 14/06/2026I’m glad the USMNT is doing well because Legion FC is making me sad 000
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 13/06/2026Absolutely incredible start! Nothing else like this tournament man 000
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 30/03/2026Ah okay, well maybe one of them would have been better. But looking at the situation as it stands, I don’t think Mills is the better choice. 000
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 30/03/2026I’m not sure, I’m not an expert on everything the guy has done, there may be some evidence. He’s been an oyster farmer for several years now, which is an improvement from soldier. I’ll say the people in Maine seem to like him, so whatever he’s doing / saying there looks to be working for them. 120
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 30/03/2026Also, there’s not another progressive option in this race that I’m aware of. And based on polls, the people of Maine seem to really like Platner. 300
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 30/03/2026I’m not saying you’re wrong, I understand being cautious because of it. But personally, after watching the videos where he explains what happened with the tattoo and his other unsavory experiences, I feel like his mindset shift was genuine and really means the things he says now. 210

From Palestine to Iran to Sudan, we normalize the destruction of schools and hospitals and daycares. We reduce children to death tolls and their futures to rubble with no consequence or second thought. 15673051781

Drew @drewnelson.dev · 26/01/2026Where is the roster okay and where is it thin? Who could we maybe sign for the spots with the most need? 010
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 07/01/2026Don't worry man, in 2026 the vibes will be very neutral - because the locker room will be empty unless we sign some players! 010
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 02/01/2026Just bummed we couldn’t even compete in this game, man. Well deserved by Indiana, hope they win it all! 000
Drew @drewnelson.dev · 01/01/2026I mean these kids are just done man. Forfeit the rest of the game, why bother. They don’t care just write em a check. 010
