I mean, we've all been playing this game for 30 years. My charitable take is that people just have to adjust to the changes to appreciate them, because they are admittedly drastic and OoT is considered so sacred. And yeah, the environments are incredible! Love all that beautiful fog.

Sorry y'all, I REALLY like the new OoT. I'm sooo excited to play it and I think it's a beautiful interpretation. Also, my partner has never played non BotW/TotK Zelda games and he's excited for this, and that counts for something. I knew the internet would hate it, but I like it a bunch. 🤷

Why. Are home printers. Universally. SHIT. I'd pull my hair out if I had any!!! I need a new one but I'm afraid to invest in one that sucks. I print a ton for stickers, and I like the ink economy on the Ecotank printer and the print quality is decent, but it's otherwise kind of terrible. Reccs?

Coyote Vs. Acme was such a joy. An engaging mystery, very funny writing AND physical comedy, and they successfully managed to give Wile E. Coyote a meaningful character arc. It's so sweet and fun and I highly recommend you go see it in a full theater so you can laugh with other people. 9 outta 10!

It has a few other curiosities and some gems, but VB Wario Land truly is THE game of the platform. It's definitely worth playing, and it's just as good in 2D so just emulate it. (Please don't buy a Virtual Boy, haha.)

It's just as good in 2D, I promise. Don't buy as Virtual Boy. You don't even have to buy Nintendo's VB goggles for Switch. Emulate it. It's fabulous no matter how you play it, I promise!

The good thing about this game is that it is indeed best played on a Virtual Boy, but only by a little. It's totally great in 2D when emulated, and if you wanna play it in 3D, soft mod a 3DS and play it on the VB emulator on there. It rocks. However you can play it, play it!

After years of playing this game multiple times and appreciating its top-tier grayscale art, superb animation and visual style, sense of atmosphere, 10/10 soundtrack, and satisfying gameplay, I think I gotta finally say it: VB Wario Land might be in my top 10 games of all time. It's THAT good.

Also I'd just like to add that this is a 4.0 megapixel camera from 2001 and it kicks ass. It shoots raw so even if the images straight out of camera aren't stellar, it's really easy to edit them into something nice as you see above. I'm blown away, it's such a fun camera to have on a nice day.

Also, injury trigger warning: the feeling of a bone popping out of its socket and waiting a few hours to have it popped back in...truly so painful and so uncomfortable. Like that "funny bone" feeling turned up to a hundred. Not fun!!! Buy decent elbow pads!

I'm left-handed so this could have been so much worse. My injury in January was my left wrist and that sucked so bad. I'm able to draw without trouble, and can even use a mouse to navigate just fine. This brace is more inconvenient than anything. Take care of yourselves, human bodies are fragile!

I've been quiet about it publicly but I busted my elbow roller skating about a week and a half ago. At first I was in a shitty splint from the ER and now I'm in this wacky brace and will be doing phys. therapy. Second injury this year. I love roller skating, but I'm likely not gonna do it anymore.

Me taking a photo in the mirror, my right arm in a shoddy splint (put on me at the ER) to keep it at an angle until I could see a proper doctor about it a few days later. The lighting is warm and cozy, I've got a Canon Powershot G2 up to my face to take the photo.
