I still stand by what I said about going through the middle of the field and attacking the spine of NE’s defense but man. No Gonzo and Barmore is huge. Definitely can attack outside a bit more 👀 #BillsMafia

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Thurs. thoughts cont’d #BillsMafia Keep playing the run strong. NE doesn’t have a ton of outside weapons. If we can get a lead early, we can force their hand and create chaos STs is crucial. Punt the ball AWAY from Jones. He’s dynamic. Don’t let this be a repeat of last years game 1 vs NE.

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

Some Thurs. thoughts for you #BillsMafia NE likes to bring pressure. Middle of the field should be the place to attack. Kincaid, Shakir, backs, etc. RUN THE BALL. On D, we need to mix the coverages up and CONTAIN Maye. Don’t let his legs be an easy button. Make him read it out

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 28/09/2026

Here we go, BUF-LAC quick hits -Groot is a monster. Wrecked the game -offensive misfires; bad turnovers and goofy penalties. Gotta clean it up. -CJGJ huge INT in a big moment. Need more! -Dorian flashed several times in open field -DJ Moore is a WARRIOR, so is Keon 👏🏽 DUB, GO BILLS #BillsMafia

I think Moore plays on Sunday but he might be on a pitch count/decoy duty. I think Keon sits out and we see Skylar Bell #BillsMafia

It kind of went unnoticed last night but Josh fighting off Aidan Hutchinson to throw a ball away was crazy impressive. Shades of stiff arming Aaron Donald years ago #BillsMafia

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

One more note. Groot and Walker have been INCREDIBLE to start the season. Chubb showed some juice tonight as well. Like what I’m seeing from them #BillsMafia

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

BUF-DET quick hits - Josh Allen still the best player in the league - DJ Moore 😔 hope he’s okay - Defense did better with pressure but man. I do not like the coverage so far - Cook, Kincaid, and Keon 📈 - Cool game to open up new Highmark As always, go Bills 🦬 #BillsMafia

Quick hits, BUF-HOU! -JOSH ALLEN. Absolutely nuclear today -Moore and Kincaid really opened up the offense. If we can throw like that against this defense, look out NFL 👀 -Shakir a downfield weapon again? YES -O line played VERY well today -Thank you Groot! Defense needs work #BillsMafia

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 13/09/2026

GAMEDAY #BillsMafia Keys and predictions -control the middle of the field on offense & protect Josh. -NO TURNOVERS -pressure Stroud and stop the run on D -throw the ball to COOK out of the backfield Gimme the Bills, 24-20. Texans ain’t beating us forever. GO BILLS

040

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 12/09/2026

Just off the rip, some observations #BillsMafia -obviously, new DC and scheme this year with Jim Leonhard. Man coverage and blitz 📈 -no Kincaid or DJ Moore last year. Both of those guys will help this go-around -Dawkins/Brown both 100% healthy Going to be a tight game but we’ll see! Go Bills

Something that will probably matter going forward: The Rams nickel/dime defense was no match vs SF's run game, which looks vastly improved from last year. Niners RBs averaged 6.5 yds/carry and a >50% success rate running into those looks tonight.

I think the secondary translates fairly well (Hairston, Benford, Bishop). Need another safety. I think Hoecht, Groot, and Dorian Williams translate decently as well. Gotta fill out the edges, IDL, and ideally some more LBs. #BillsMafia

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 01/02/2026

Going to be a stark change on D, that’s for sure. JL’s defense is that hybrid 3-4 attacking style defense. Lot of coverage rotations, blitzing, and more press man coverage. VERY aggressive. Almost the opposite of the defense we are used to seeing from BUF. #BillsMafia

I’ve been a loud critic of Beane this season but I also hope he can fix this mess. He’s had a rough year but I don’t think he wanted McD gone. Seems like TP made a rash “straw that broke the camel’s back” decision based on the Denver outcome and then contradicted himself by blaming refs #BillsMafia

020

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

I think the top candidates for the Bills are Klint Kubiak, Davis Webb, and Brian Daboll. Anthony Weaver is interesting if they decide to go with a defense first guy. Who’s the right choice? Hell if I know #BillsMafia

100

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

Presser was ROUGH folks. McD definitely got scapegoated. Seems like Beane wasn’t even aware that Sean was going to be gone. We might be headed back to the wilderness 😞 I hope not . . . #BillsMafia

210

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

The cons to Daboll. NYG wasn’t great overall by any standard He’s not better than McD. You’re HOPING he can be eventually Josh isn’t an up and coming player now. He’s the best in the NFL. How does that relationship evolve? Run game . . . Gotta nail the DC hire #BillsMafia

030

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

I’m onboard with this if we get a Davis Webb as OC and a stud DC

010

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 21/01/2026

I’m fine with Daboll 🤷🏽‍♂️ he was really solid in BUF as OC. Giants job was tough but he didn’t have a ton to work with, let’s be honest. How it panned out also probably humbled him a bit. #BillsMafia

120

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 20/01/2026

Still pretty stunned by the move on McD. It’s a results based league but the grass isn’t always greener. Beane with the promotion reeks to me, personally. The Bills better be right. #BillsMafia

080

Drew Braston @drewbraston.bsky.social · 18/01/2026

That was tough guys. Really tough. #BillsMafia I’m all over the place after this one. We did not play a clean game. Way too many plays left out there. When you leave plays on the field, it introduces variance. Horrendous game from the refs. That Cooks call was awful. We fight on

Worried slightly less than the Jags game. I hope our OLine protects Josh from getting pancaked. Please everyone elevate - no stupid penalties; No turnovers; no unforced errors. May Takeaway Tre, Bishop and Bosa have big games. And our Cooks - James and Brandin serve up points! 🍀🙏❤️🦬💙🏈

Another note about the game. McD was really in his BAG. They had TLaw in a blender with disguises and coverage rotations. I think this defense can be absolute nasty once we get guys fully healthy. If we had Oliver and Hoecht . . . MAN #BillsMafia
