Talking to an old friend recently and mid-conversation it dawned on me that I've tried therapy twice, and in both cases had the deep insecurities I shared be openly laughed at to my face by the therapist. I know I should still try to go back to therapy, but... it's hard to find the right one.

New app idea: It's an online marketplace like Facebook Marketplace or think Craigslist - and it will be called "CrispHighFive", and it will have a unique mechanism for verifying its members and filtering out scammers and scam accounts.

I think I'm too afraid of the internet and any kind of digital footprint I might leave behind. Even on sites like this which should be somewhat safe spaces for me to express myself, I feel watched and uneasy. It feels very much like my entire life has been lived within a panopticon of sorts.

The first idea I had a while ago now was a social media site that revolves around MIDI clips and soft synths. You would be able to make your own little clips of music and share them and link them together. As a community, people could combine clips into songs. It would be like git but for music.
