My colleague just sent me one of her Facebook memories, and it said seven years ago today we were in Dering Woods (The Screaming Woods) in #Pluckley doing a Ghost Hunt. It was a good night, but unfortunately the "scariest" thing we saw was a group of drugged up chavs who thought they were hard.

I watched #Marebito last night. Its been on my watchlist for ages after I saw it featured several times on "Best Japanese Horror" and "Best Found Footage Horror" lists, and is seemingly raved about on #Letterboxd I honestly couldn't agree less. An utterly dire slog of a film.

I know its due to VPN use, but no other search engine takes this long. Time to move to another provider?

Finally managed to record and add a Green Woodpecker to my Life List on the #MerlinBirdID app whilst at work yesterday. I see them all the time at work and the local area, and have been trying to record one for ages, but they just kept evading me.

I absolutely can not wait for @mikeflanaganfilm.com's take on #Carrie. Carrie (1976) has been in my top five favourite films of all time since I first saw it well over 20 years ago, and given his track record, and the fantastic cast, I know Mike Flanagan & co. will have done an awesome job of it!

I really wanted to like #Passenger, but I can honestly say I have never been so uninvested in a horror movie. Boring story, action and jump scares were tropey and predictable, and the characters were all 2-D. There was a hint of potential for a good story, but everything just needed a lot more.

I still have my original book, and also bought the entire series again following the re-release campaign. I was even lucky enough to have my comments read to the Ghosts author Christopher Maynard in the Fortean Times article after the re-release. Those books were my childhood bible 😁

Our new fridge-freezer has an alarm to alert you if either door has been left open. Great! But not so great when I'm staring endlessly into the fridge trying to decide what to eat, or if I'm even hungry, or just simply contemplating all my life choices. I don't need that kind of pressure.
