I'm assuming this is a cost-related thing. As a designer/developer, I'm looking to outsource some development, and I could see asking about methods. They should be using AI which is faster/cheaper/often-better. On some level, I don't care (I care about cost/quality), but I feel like it could matter.

I kind of want to make a dopamine website where people can "buy" things for society -- like logic and reasoning courses in high school, or benches to be placed on streets, trails through neighborhood wild-spaces, etc...

It's honestly hard being part of a country that is doing some pretty questionable things currently. Ideally I'm someone who helps make the world a better place, or at least not make it worse, but just my basic existence, and contributions to this system, isn't lining up with that goal.

I don't see how you go from: 1. Street vendors shouldn't be in front of restaurants 2. Encampments shouldn't be in front of schools To: “You don’t deserve to exist if you aren’t paying rent.” If I agree with the first two. It doesn't necessarily follow that I would agree with the conclusion.

I don't know either way whether vendors should be in front of restaurants....but I wish as a species, we wouldn't take things that people say, and then just take them to the most extreme level possible, twisting meanings and cheapening the discussion. I think it really keeps us from progressing.

Yeah. You're potentially right, it could sit there for a few years unused, but over the long term I'd prefer there to be a good medium or high density neighborhood as opposed to a large mall. For me, the calculation of an interim of not so great, is worth the long term massive improvement.
