No problem. Often scaling down doesn't cause problems for pixel art but scaling up does since the scaling requires adding new pixels and it's designed for real images that would benefit from looking smoother. Having the final image scaled to over 1000 pixels on the short side tends to work for me.

Your pixel art might be really small resolution so when it gets uploaded to the site, it automatically resizes it larger, and in process, smoothens out edges, making pixel art look blurry. If you haven't you should find a website that does lossless scaling to make your image bigger before uploading.

I am extremely pleased to see there is no sign of a gremlin in this sites code, eating the quality out of my animations. At least as far as I can tell. Compression sucks the life out of pixel art.
