Sorry I've been a little quiet lately! Had a birthday very early in the year, then some family mourning, and it all kinda got away from me. Progress in the current project is slow, but it's the last thing I'll be working on before SHI: V3, so thank you so much for bearing with me! 💙🖤💛

A bit over 8 years ago I got inspired by @t-larc.bsky.social to start my artistic journey into pixel art. I've come a long way since and have far to go still. Still a big fan of your work :3 Here's a remake of my very first pixel art.

Down to our last five copies of Lone Sole. Thank you so much to everyone that ordered one! 💙🖤💛 If you're still interested in picking up a limited signed and numbered copy, they're available on the website until they aren't. A second run would be wonderful, but seems increasingly less likely!

Really hope you folks are enjoying the new story! Do you think you'd benefit from some kind of review or comment section on the website? I don't love that there isn't some kind of community hub to discuss all things T-LARC, but all the existing platforms end up proving why they can't be trusted.

Hey folks, been a minute! So I DEFINITELY don't have a project coming out soon that I've been working on since before Lone Sole dropped. An unrelated question - in short form fiction, what format do you prefer? Pretty but static PDFs, or reflowable, but occasionally temperamental files like EPUB?

Hitting the dreaded 3-0 pretty soon, and I'd like y'all to be honest with me... Am I too old for this? I've heard on the grapevine that once you hit a certain age, you have to hang up your hat, stop having fun and only talk about tax brackets and mortgages. 🤔

You know, I think I've finally realised what my latent obsession with film trailers is about. Unlike films, which are too long, winding and multi-faceted to ever be called perfect, I truly believe there's such a thing as a "perfect trailer", from the first frame to the last!

It snowed! I know it's literally worse for everybody when it won't settle, and the ice that forms makes it a nightmare to get around, and some people just can't stand the cold, but sometimes, you've got to make the most of the little things. It was beautiful! My little fox heart was leaping! 💙🖤💛

Thank god it's over! Have y'all got any resolutions for 2026? I'd love to hear them! I don't usually make a hard-and-fast list, but I'd like to hone my writing until it's so sharp that a suspiciously wealthy client buys my services outright. You never know! (Original art by @theprwolf.bsky.social)

T-LARC, a blue cartoon fox, celebrates the new year by blowing a party blower, adorned with an audacious pair of commemorative 2026-themed glasses. Blue, red and yellow fireworks are going off in the background, with "NEW YEAR" written underneath them. (Original artwork by PR Wolf.)

Merry Christmas everyone! Wow, what a wild year! Thank you for helping me achieve a BIG personal milestone. I would have never made it to Volume Two of SHI without you! Wishing you all happiness, safety and warmth wherever you are in the world. Toot, toot! (Original art by @theprwolf.bsky.social)

A blue cartoon fox, drawn by PR Wolf, augmented with poorly drawn baubles, a Christmas hat, and a party blower going "Toot! Toot!"

"X-MAS" is written alongside the party blower.

Found myself a festive gig working nights! It's almost over now, but man has it been a wild ride. Nothing can prepare you for retail work in the lead-up to Christmas. I honestly think it should be mandatory growing up. Just 1 month. The nation's approach to customer service would change overnight.

What's up, everybody? I've just been enjoying the #NotDeathOfCinema during my large screen Dolby Atmos presentation of Zootropolis 2. For the low, low price of 8 Britannian pounds, I got the entire place to myself. Very surreal seeing all those empty seats. The movie deserved more!

How is one supposed to feel when one's suspicions regarding the exploitative, life-guzzling, capital-addicted foundations of modern democracy are not only met, but far, far outpaced? The Aztecs would balk. There's not enough water and good will in the world to wash the temple's slick stones clean.

Wanna know my biggest regret for the Lone Sole roll-out? No fun, silly bonus things in the package. Sure, there's an art card, but I wanted to have stickers, mini ARG mysteries and so on. Sadly, I didn't want to tempt fate by having to declare 50 items on the customs form, but maybe next time...

Convincing you to read my novel with the first sentence. Share yours if you want. Okay, you've got me. I love doing these things! It's fascinating to see whether a piece of writing begins with a joke, a bombshell, a piece of intrigue, or just something beautiful that sets the tone!

Chapter ?: ???

The first thing he felt was surprise. Surprise at the lack of pain, and surprise at the serene sense of stillness, certainly, but most of all, Teal was surprised by the fact that he could still feel anything at all.
That was a nice surprise.
The next thing he felt was his chest expanding outward, as his body worked...

A feudal village stands under a starry, moonlit night. Above all, a red, nine-tiered tower protrudes, visited by two indistinct figures following the path to its door.

Just throwing in my 20p. The latest efforts to scrape data for American tech companies, sorry, I mean "protect kids from already age-gated video games, history articles and suicide prevention resources", are very, very not good. It's reassuring that everyone outside the government understands this.
