or cello. like yes I know how to play the saxophone but it wasn't really my instrument of CHOICE, y'know? cello is my fav instrument of all time but I can only imagine how much one costs 😭 I cry

yeah :( there's always those people who don't take it seriously and unfortunately... it was almost always the percussion section. idk why that was the case lmao but it was funny. I honestly want to learn a new instrument but they're expensive. for the longest time I've wanted to learn violin

I remember when I was in middle school I would get so huffy bc I would get the repetitive parts and not the melody... but it was tenor sax and not alto so what did I expect lol. in HS I played alto and that was fun. my brother and I once played the pink panther theme on our alto saxes for the

oomfie has me reminiscing about my concert band days and I remember the time we played this in all-city band and it gave everyone hell lmao. this was back during my tenor sax days in middle school iirc. youtu.be/1N_5X4mp6Iw?...

yeah our hs band was just too small so we didn't get the same sound our middle school band did, unfortunately :( but yeah I just miss playing an instrument period. I mean I'm in choir now, which means it's just i am the instrument now, but it's not the same.

I've always wanted to be in a marching band but my high school didn't have one, sadly. I was in concert band in middle and high school and unfortunately high school concert band was buns. middle school concert band tho? amazing.

i’m gonna hold your hand when i say this, you need to let people enjoy things sometimes. even if their joy makes you cringe, you need to learn how to address that within yourself so that you don’t become a nasty human being

this has been my experience trying to find an alternative to my current hairstylist bc after my experience today I'm just. mortified. everything is either way too expensive or charges more for curly hair.

mostly wanted to point this out in case ppl think me giving certain books 3 ⭐ is a bad score and it's like... no I likely still liked a lot of it! esp if it's closer to a 4 ⭐ like Hazelthorn. low 3... ehhh. but high 3s is still very very promising in my book.

how I rate books: 1 ⭐: waste of time 2 ⭐: had promise but annoyed me more than pleased me 3 ⭐: enjoyed it more than it annoyed me, but it still annoyed me 4 ⭐: a lovely read, with some minor issues. probably missing something. 5 ⭐: beautiful. stupendous. probably changed my life.

um ig the only good thing about this day was that there were people protesting tr*mp's visit to the city so that was nice to see

0160

also I rly fucking hate hair places that charge more for curly hair :') go fuck yourself

1110

I just need to find another place to go to by this point bc their availability is just so limited. if it wasn't so limited I wouldn't have hesitated cancelling. :/

120

just kinda wish i was asked ahead of time if I was sick or not, like the hairstylist clearly saw I was wearing a mask at the door? why waste my time like that and then make me feel like I was being unreasonable for not cancelling

I really, truly hate being so fragile. the suffering of an animal makes me cry. the rejection of others has me panicking. fuck today was such a shit day. I was looking forward to a haircut and couldn't even have that.

140

this combined w the squirrel has me on the verge of an autistic meltdown and it rly fucking blows

140

.....sigh god damn it. I'm irritated rn. what a waste of time. I rly should have just cancelled this appointment ahead of time.

1110

and that's only one corner of the salon! everywhere you look there's some sort of cool decoration!

000

saw a squirrel that got ran over on the street but the tail was still moving and it instantly ruined my day tbh

290

yeah no this one has so much personality, I love it so so much, but it's a popular spot with limited availability at times but I love the way they decorate different for all the seasons.

010

if you want!!! hahaha but you really don't have to, I'm planning on buying a couple of books next paycheck!
