...like I'm not gonna grandstand and ignore the leaps and bounds 3D sonic fan works have gotten in the last 7ish years, with some of the best displays of understanding engaging level design and game feel in the franchise (I do not like Robo Blast 2), but the camera is the last element needing focus.

If it doesn't start with an NES title, idk it's kinda interesting to play certain series in release order You get to see how the games evolved through time, both in presentation and in gameplay A good trilogy playthrough (like Sly, Jak, or Ps2 Ratchet) is always fun

looking at Wolf's Smash Ultimate design is weird cus it doesn't bounce off of anything. Feels like this is the first iteration of Wolf in Smash that isn't directly tied to any narrative we've seen. I think the design is really cool in a vacuum but I don't think I'd care for a canon design like that

A great game in its own right, I think Corn Kidz fills the gap of a Rareware styled n64 3d platformer, but lacks a lot of what makes Banjo's structure very fun imo. I guess that could come from its length and the lack of overall collectibles, but there's still a fundamental difference there
