Apparently, socialism & social conservatism are not incompatible, particularly for those whose "socialism" is secondary to their cultural or religious identity. However, for me, if for no one else, you can't really be a socialist & racist or transphobic or homophobic, but maybe that is just me.

Actually, a third option would be a coalition with the Greens & Lib Dems to keep out a future fascist Tory ReformUK government. Labour has no real future as a single ruling party, the media have seen to that. Tactical voting is the only way to preserve any kind of democracy in Britain.

A ReformUK Tory coalition is my top tip for the next election. ReformUK will do & say anything to gain power, that is their only concern. They will then deliver the country into the hands of foreign powers, multinationals, & home-grown billionaires, who have owned the party from the beginning.
