Man, I forgot how few officers actually showed up in Dynasty Warriors 3 battles. I also forgot Da shows up in this battle even if you're not playing as her, so nice to see that they didn't just pretend that she doesn't exist unless you play as her or her husband (I'm playing as Huang Gai)

In non-Fortune’s Weave news, Dynasty Warriors 3’s remaster is superb, though I do recommend using the Japanese or Chinese voice options if you aren’t explicitly looking for the nostalgia of the janky English dub.

With the release of Woof 16.0, the time has come for me to set aside Dominus Diabolicus 2 development (at least for a bit) and start working on the new MBF spec (working name: MBF2y) for Doom. So far, I’ve gotten rid of elastic collisions and players getting stuck on impassible two-sided linedefs!

What’s funny is, Marines going from Toughness 4 to Toughness 5 isn’t really going to matter when most of your weapons are Anti-Infantry 3+. And the changes to Precision made Abaddon eat a lot of shit when Drazhar suddenly had it for 8 attacks.

Won my first game of 11th edition 40k after deciding I like putting Drukhari together too much to not try them. I literally only had Drazhar left with 1 wound at the end, but he basically soloed Abaddon and his squad after losing his entire bodyguard of Incubi in a single fight phase.

Plus, Michael Lindsay’s Sun Ce was great. Not that Yuri did a bad job with him either, especially later on in the series where he really nailed it, but DW4 Surfer Dude Sun Ce was peak nostalgia, even more so than “Fear my maaaaagic!” from the Yellow Turbans in DW3 (or “Oh no! A dike!” from Sima Yi)

Hot take here but I will probably still be using the Chinese or Japanese sub to play Dynasty Warriors 3 Remastered. I don’t have as much nostalgia for the DW3 versions of the characters as I do for DW4, where they actually started to have personalities outside of cutscenes.

There are five levels left to go in Dominus Diabolicus 2 before it reaches a phase where it can be tested. Sadly, it won’t be playable in the Kex D+D II port due to some bugs there that make certain enemies completely busted, but some longstanding visual glitches aside, UZDoom 5.0 is working nicely!
