My dad ended up calling him tonight to apologize for forgetting. He was traveling to visit his gf that day and had been up since 2AM. My brother text and sent him some money. His mother in law is in the hospital in Kentucky and isn't expected to make it so he's dealing with that.

I called my grandmother because it's not like her to miss a birthday or holiday. She didn't answer but she doesn't pay attention to her missed calls like anyone else would. Then again, if there was anything wrong, my dad would have called to let me know.
