Glad you are getting the chance to unpack these things. I’m still working through things myself. I can relate to channeling things into academia and trying to keep quiet and be the son that my parents want. Still working to accept myself as I am. Hopefully I’ll get there one day.

You belong in diapers. Don't bother fussing that you "don't need diapers", that's not what I said. Excuses like "I'm not a baby" or "someone might see" are besides the point entirely. Your butt belongs in thick, snugly taped up diapers and that's all there is to it.

Seeing so many of my friends recently saying they suck at something and frustrated and giving up etc and realising I havent posted this here. I say be more baby, be dumb enough to not know when to quit, keep going and you'll get there.

Baby squirrel Gem struggling to learn how to walk and with help and encouragement manages to keep trying despite repeated failure and eventually manages to toddle on her own.

I see a lot of people unsure about 24/7. It’s definitely a mindset tbh. There are plenty of ways to deal with the issues of 24/7 and there will be issues. I recommend people thinking about it give it a try at least once. But whatever you chose, make sure you are comfy, that’s most important.
