I am buying myself a new overlocker! My previous one was an Elna 664 Pro, it was great but I sometimes work with thicker fabrics like heavy ponte di Roma, and it struggled. Any recommendations?

Weird not being at UKGE this year, but we went to Viennageddon instead, and it was honestly pretty fun!

9 scenes from Vienna, from TL - Cat and George outside Three For One Trading; Cat and George in the hotel hall, ready for some Tourism; watching a table of people drafting MTG cards; one of George's matches in the MTG Old School tournament; a Viennageddon score pad on a Three For One Trading playmat; artist Paolo Parente posing playfully with a card he signed for me; Cat and George with one of the two Czech finalists; Cat and George at the Votivkirche; Cat shows off her first signed card.

A safe, happy, and joyous holiday to all who celebrate! What do you eat at this time of year as a festive meal? #holidays #Xmas #festive #feast

A grey plate, loaded with peas, stuffing, roast vegetables, bread sauce, sliced turkey, and cranberry sauce, covered in gravy, sits on a grey placemat. In the background, a glass of sparkling apple juice, a wreath of greenery and pine cones around a red candle, and dishes of roast vegetables and turkey sit on a grey tablecloth with a pattern of white snowflakes.

I’m doing victory laps in my kitchen right now!!!! 💃🏼 CGE just announced they are going to be giving away 100% of the profit from their Harry Potter game to pro-trans charities!! www.instagram.com/p/DNG48n-IVP...

A screenshot of CGE’s instagram page:

“With the above in mind, and after many heartfelt and vital discussions both internally and with members of the affected community, we have decided to donate 100% of the profit from this game to appropriate charitable organizations. We will ensure that an amount equal to our greater than the fee paid to license this product will go directly to organizations that provide support for the trans community.

We evaluate profits and make charitable-giving decisions each December, and we will continue using this annual process to direct the games profits. We will listen to recommendations from the community to help guide our choices of organizations that provide support for the trans community. Or goal is to select those that offer direct, practical help to people in need — for example, services similar to the emergency hotline that was recently discontinued.”
