iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

hahahahah :DD oh the struggle is so real

This is an absolutely stellar way of putting it.

Still, enshittification is getting absolutely ridiculous, overnight changes with “bug fixes and performance improvements” changelogs, “oopsie woopsie :)” error messages are killing me, and my career in QA is a sysiphean nightmare at this point. 🥲

Although I admit that it could be frustrating at times, and when it was not amongst your special interests it was more tedium than fun, but it was probably one of the best times to be a child/adolescent in modern history.

In all honesty, our (30+) generation got an insane amount of useful computer literacy, troubleshooting skills and a bunch of extra critical thinking affinity from the sheer amount of debugging. It was a fun little mystery to solve each time, and I felt powerful and competent when I succeeded✨

from under the Bear tooth head fungus (I wish that mushroom had a catchier name)

A large white fungus loosely resembling a droopy willow tree, with a trunk and thick white fleshy fronds flowing downwards. One of the branches has a swing attached upon which an isopod sits. The scene is garnished with various lichens and mosses.

This piece is my little homage to my beloved forests, to which I’m longing back every day I’m not there. Done with purple and green colored pencils in my sketchbook. :)

People are flocking to the forests, because autumn is a magical call not many can resist (rightly so), but remember, that you are only a welcome guest there, behave as such, and carry the judgement of the forest with every step you make as you tread through their sacred floor.

Whether their judgement will feel light as a feather and warm as the sun, or a cold, resentful sack of iron making your breaths a laborious plead and your ankles hurt with burden, depends entirely on you.

In an old growth forest, you can’t help but feel watched, your every step being carefully surveyed. The trees are following your movement with unblinking eyes, their judgement silent, but final, one that you will forever feel on your shoulders.

Thank you, he will be missed forever 🖤

Given these kitties ages, none of these deaths are too much of an unexpected occurrence, still it has shattered our hearts in a million pieces, but losing Mutyur is a complete and utter shock. Please hug your kitties close today, tell them you love them, tell them we love them, too.

This year has been incredibly tolling in terms of losing pets in our close circle of friends and family. My brother’s 15 yo siamese passed Thursday, we were deeply shaken by that, too. Two of our good friends lost their old ladies to lymphoma in the span of the last 4 months.

On Saturday, Mutyur’s heart gave up out of absolutely nowhere. He had no prior health issues bar his spine problems, for which we saw a vet and a therapist every month. We are devastated, heartbroken and in utter disbelief. He was the absolute smartest, kindest, most lovable little boy. 😔🖤
