I feel like the concept of infinite universes or timelines is born out of the need to impress people with scale, and people not having a grasp on how big a single universe or even a single galaxy is. This honestly makes me extremely sad, the word infinite has become cosmetic in science fiction.

Sometimes I wonder if I'm faking my ADHD Then I book a doctor's appointment on my girlfriend's birthday, forgot what hospital it was at for two months, made plans with said boyfriend ON their birthday, and then had a near panic attack trying to figure out when the appointment is.
