🏁- Quite long, the spiciness lasts for some time. The palate notes largely continue, and I think it has rum type characteristics. Late on sweet tropical fruits push their way through. It comes across as higher than 40% ABV. #olddrams #westminstermistwhisky #80swhisky

👅- The palate is very different to the nose. I’m getting figs, prunes, raisins, golden syrup, with cardamom. The mouthfeel is oily, unexpected. This could easily contain sherry cask whisky, the dustiness feom the nose also comes through. #olddrams #westminstermistwhisky #80swhisky

👃- Initially I’m finding this fruity, with evergreen boughs, it’s also coming across as dusty. The fruits are a mix of red berries and tropical fruits. I’m also getting a cardboard kind of a note, and it’s becoming more wood intense. #olddrams #westminstermistwhisky #80swhisky

The Nose - Though not Islay it comes across with medicinal peat initially with germoline, and sticky plasters. But there’s also hot mashed potatoes, gherkin/pickled onion juice, something like cherry Bakewells, and the oak makes it through too. #OneCaskAtATime

The Nose - Sweeter, more gentle, with strawberry mivvi ice creams, cream soda float with vanilla ice cream. I have to say the sweetness is beautifully soft, it’s wonderful 👏. It’s literally ice cream all day for me, raspberry ripple ice cream, with strawberry sauce. #OneCaskAtATime
