Flying out of Los Angeles tonight. If you look closely, you can see two fires burning with plumes of smoke rising from a darkened landscape in the middle of the city. The air is so thick with smoke that there is ash falling from the sky.

The CEO of United Healthcare Group was shot and killed in NYC prior to an investor meeting this morning. My condolences to his family. Also, I’m pretty sure the timing of this murder was no accident. Gun violence to make a statement about a catastrophic healthcare system is so American 🇺🇸
