Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 18/09/2026I think one of my pet peeves is when a video game interrupts a cut scene for you to choose a dialogue option.... but there is just ONE dialogue choice, so why not just have it happen without needing us to click it? Looking at you, Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.... 100
Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 14/09/2026Nice! That's one I have never actually played before, but I have always been curious 010

Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 21/08/2026Agreed - this is a class that thematically has always called to me, but I just couldn't justify going forward with. With all the classes getting the remaster treatment, we can always hope it happens soon! 120
Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 18/08/2026I also like to have information about their description, occupation, background, and a relevant secret, but these are usually something I want at the beginning of the module while the other details are kept in the relevant place of the adventure 110
Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 18/08/2026A little bit of both - I usually like some notes on how to roleplay the NPC in general, and then a bit of information the character can say in response to specific questions. I have tried the full script approach - it led to everything being too inflexible for my players' roleplay. 110

Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 27/07/2026With the multitude of character creation options, I also recommend using an online creator like Demiplane, Pathbuilder, or Foundry (this last is surprisingly comprehensive and intuitive). That way the step-by-step process becomes a bit clearer to follow. 000
Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 27/07/2026On the same note of PF and rules, I play digitally with my group, but I also have a GM screen with magnet rules for the game that I set up because it helps organize quick info references. Archives of Nethysis is also a key tool for quick rule checking, that is worth bookmarking. 110
Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 27/07/2026And the 5% difference I feel is an improvement overall. Their monsters' designs are much more fun and exciting, and I feel they are more creative with the character class designs too 000
Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 27/07/2026Don't go in expecting to know every rule - there are WAAAAAAAY too many to memorize. Have a general feel for it, be clear that you will have to look things up as yoi go, and it should go well. Alternatively, if you want D&D without the WotC, Kobold Press' Tales of the Valiant is 95% the same. 210
Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 27/07/2026I made the jump from D&D to PF about 1.5 years ago. It is a big jump, but I took it slow with my group with small-stakes adventures. I started with one of their PF Society adventures, then ran the Beginner Box, and then Rusthenge (TPK'd in that one). Now we are doing Kingmaker for the long haul. 110

I am just expressing my own regrets for the situation and that things have gotten polarized to such a negative degree that people think antisemitism is okay 010
Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 10/06/2026That's terrible. I agree with you 100%, and it is not okay. I wish people could understand nuance and separate the culture from the political state's actions, but everyone has been galvanized to the extremes with no vocal middle ground. It's one of the things I hate about modern politics. 110
Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 06/06/2026Chrono Trigger remains one of my all-time favorites! Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 28/05/2026In the novel I'm writing, I have it mostly regarded as a normal part of life with no stigma applied in bigger cities. However, there are smaller pockets of communities that are less open. They accept it to a point, but at a certain age it's expected for those relationships.... 110

Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 27/05/2026The first mass transition to Bluesky (including me) happened just when I was hoping to start my own thing and start engaging on TTRPG things. Trevar - Dramatic Dragons @dramaticdragons.com · 27/04/2026I in no way suggest Dahl's antisemitism is worse than Rowlings' transphobia Both are terrible. Both should be called out for what they are. But if Dahl rose from the grave, collected a royalty check, and used that money to make life terrible for Jews... then it would be more comparable. 100
